I ordered this part for my Dimplex Optymist fir which had stopped producing the smoke like mist. Simple to fit in a only a few minutes and works really well. Great value for money.

Stopped working after three months - I changed the lens, though no difference. There doesn't seem to be an option to return if faulty?

The media could not be loaded.  After not knowing what was wrong with my fire as not getting any "smoke", I did a bit of googling. Found the part I hoped it would be on Amazon and £33 later my £600 fire works again. I've had my fire for around 3 years now and only just had a problem. So happy it's sorted. Let's hope it last.

Item worked fine when first installed but failed after just over 10 months. Expecting a 12 month guarantee I claimed a refund only to be told by the supplier that it only had a 6 month guarantee. There was no mention of this on Amazon's website when I bought this transducer else I would not have bought it. I consider this to be very bad practice as everyone in the UK expects Amazon products to carry at least a 1 year guarantee. I shall not be buying SPARES2GO items ever again.
