This little thing is awesome!I actually didn’t use it as it was intended. I made a folding stand and attached it to the bottom to use as a slide out bbq for my toy hauler. I bought all the bbq and griddle and cook top. All 14” accessories work with it. The drain bucket and gutter system works great!Very happy with the way it cooks in all modes. Temp gauge is spot on. Very well built, you can tell it was made in America. The ignition sparker is a bit finicky tried adjusting it closer and farther away but nether did anything to help. I will have this bbq for a long time.

This has been a very nice addition to my Camp Chef pellet grill. It was easy to install and has worked well so far. Note that the "side kick" is a combo package of the burner and 1 top accessory (either the griddle or the sear box). If you want both options, you might want to price both side kick options + the missing option as an add on accessory to see which option is cheapest. In my case, it was cheaper to buy the sidekick with griddle and then the sear box as a separate add on accessory than to buy the sidekick with sear box and add on the griddle separately. The griddle comes with a little grease trap box that hangs on your burner at the front of the griddle (attached picture shows it installed with some peppers I was cooking).Note that you can also buy a pizza oven as another separate top accessory option that will fit on your burner as well.

It is very good quality. I can make a liter for it. I'm a Tek that works on all kinds of stuff so know big deal but most people can fix stuff like this. But I've been very happy with all camp shef.

Additional to a grill

The Sidekick griddle is useful and the add-on pizza oven does an excellent job. I don't need the grate to hold pots, so I wired a wok ring to it. The burner is more than adequate to season the wok and cook, and stir fry cooking on the firmly attached ring is trouble-free. Along with the pellet grill, it's a versatile cooking system.

Sidekick with griddle opens a world of outdoor cooking options. Added a barbecue box. The pellet grill alone already had us cooking outside extensively, each month, now it is multiple times per week, and includes breakfast!Sidekick is POWERFUL, but very controllable. Gets attachments up to temp fast, and is easy to maintain temp. Excellent for heating pots too.Read some reviews of people experiencing lighting problems. Happy to report mine lights right up, no need to break out matches.Get it!

It works great for pancakes, bacon and other things we want to cook along with our burgers and chicken. We really like how it distributes the heat evenly. It also means we don't have to have clunky pans that tend to get knocked on the ground while we are cooking.
