Stonebriar Decorative Cast Iron Blue Octopus Multi Wall Hook

Wanted something by the bathroom sink to hang hand towels and matched the nautical theme of the room. This product came exactly as described and is perfect for what I needed. As pointed out in other reviews, the single hook provided to hang the item isn’t enough to keep it from sliding back and forth. The back side of the octopus is inset so I was able to use two small flathead screws left slightly sticking out of the wall and spaced to align with the left and right side of the inset to keep it in place and keep the hanging hardware hidden.

I got this hoping I could hang a hand towel on it in the bathroom. It is super sturdy and really cool looking, but the tentacles don't really stick out far enough to use for that. I mean, you could hang a hand towel there and it would stay, but not if you like to leave it on the hook while you're drying your hands. For anything smaller though, it would be awesome.

Bought this hook and their larger seahorse hooks for our spa room and they are really well made and super cute. The only weakness is that they loop on the back of this hook causes the hook to fall off the wall if what you hang on it tugs on the hook at all as you cannot tighten the hook to the wall.The back has a small metal loop to hang over a nail or screw head, but you cannot reach under the hook to tighten to the wall so the hook stays loose to the wall and can fall off easily. I plan to add some silicone caulking under the octopus to add to its stability and prevent it from falling off the wall so easily.

This is a very cute piece, however, it is just for decoration. I had it in a spot right next to my shower, and it got knocked off the wall twice, and both times landed on a throw rug, and both times it broke. The hook to hang it (on the back) is somewhat flimsy because it should not have fallen off the wall like that. I wish I put it over the toilet, where nobody would pass in front of it. I gave it 4 stars because it is very cute, but do not buy it for an active area or to use to hang things on. I wish it didn't break so easily as well, it only dropped from about 5 feet, and like I said onto the carpet. I was able to superglue it both times though, but I'm moving its location.

This little octopus is super cute in my ocean themed bathroom. I put it to use to hang my towel on next to the shower. Love the blue color too. goes great with my decor.

I love the look of this however, it only has one hanger, and it won't stay put. I had to add a small nail under the head to keep if from moving.

OK..... truth here. I bought this for a friend who collects octopus' as a gift. It was so cute, I kept it for myself. Well made.
