Excellent for my use - making small laser cut boxes.

Size measured 2.64mm thick, by 11w x 14L, Sturdy, just as advertised. Tried finding equivalent in stock at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, JoAnns none found. Satisfied customer.

I am using these as my back-board for doing multiple watercolor paintings at once. They are great! I could probably reduce the cost by cutting my own from the hardware store-- but who has the time and all equipments? These are reasonably priced and cut well (smooth edges) so I'm quite happy with them. I will be ordering more.

Will work great for the larger boxes that we will be creating. A little bit too sturdy for creating the small boxes that we needed.

I was expecting something closer to a sturdy clipboard material. I wouldn't call this hardboard very "hard." It is also not perfectly level -- mine bows in the middle.In my case, these two issues disqualify it from being useful for the application for which they were purchased. But if you're using it for general crafting, it should work fine!

Each board comes wrapped in plastic. I kept that wrapping on and set my 9x12 Canson watercolor paper on top of it and paint away. I have used painters tape to tape the edges of my paper down and carefully lift it off after and it hasn't ripped the plastic. I love having something that I can move my painting around and get things from a different angle. It is thick enough that it doesn't bend, but if I wasn't careful, it could easily snap in half without too much effor. Love these!

If you are looking for an equivalent replacement for the typical Ampersand hardboard most of us artists use, this is not it. If you are, however, looking for something cheap, disposable, and not very precisely cut (the edges are off by half a centimeter on most of these and cut at a slight slant on some), this may work. I use these boards for mounting watercolor paper with rubber cement, which I then remove later and reuse. The Ampersand boards are heavier, solid and well cut. These are light, fairly porous, and imprecisely cut. Great for practice or as a throwaway item, but I'd never use them for anything I plan to sell. I'll probably stick to the more expensive Ampersand for mounting my paper in the future, but use these as a face cover to protect my art. Also, they come wrapped individually. Big plus on that!
