HEAD Energy Swim Fin

This is a good pair of fins for pool swimming.The pros:1. Well made with some nice details, and light;2. Blades are about the right length, that means the right water resistance and maneuverability.3. Come with a nice carrying bagThe cons:1. The blades are too rigid, probably made of plastic, instead of rubber materials;2. Sizes run small. I ordered these swim fins for an upcoming vacation that I would be snorkeling on. My first pair I ordered were size 11/12 and they ended up being a bit loose on my size 11 feet, probably usable but I didn't want to take the chance so I ordered the next size down 9.5/10.5 and they were a perfect fit! Other reviews have stated that these are very stiff and I would have to agree, however this was not a negative for me as they doubled as aqua socks (water shoes). The stiffness and overall durability ended up being their best asset.

Bought these for swim training after returning a pair with adjustable straps which hurt my feet because the plastic was hard. These are so soft and comfortable I swam 4X my normal workout on the first day. Only possible negative is that they don't float. but they fit exactly as stated in the chart so I won't be kicking them off during my swims.

these look well made. they come with "shoe tree" to preserve heel cup when stored & thats nice. they walk easily altho head missed a chance to make sole thicker for greater impact comfort. think of these as a leg workout booster for surface swimming. they would be most inadquate as a legit propulsion fin on a real 50 ft + dive. enjoy

They were initially exactly what I was looking for great fit and comfort for my lap swimming. After a couple months they started fraying and the rubber edging was coming loose. I wrote to the company and they told me to contact the manufacturer Head. They gave me no other information and I thought it did not seem right since I bought it from DipNDive on amazon prime for not being more helpful. Well here is is nearly one year since I bought the fins and they are falling apart in many places. They are close to being unusable now and what good will it be to report the problem to the company I bought it from. I have always had good luck with Amazon prime helping me get proper customer service but in this case it fell through the crack. So I would not recommend buying these fins for both customer service and the products durability.

Great fit, use then for training. They paddle very good and make me faster. I wear an 11 sneaker, read other reviews prior to buying this size. This size works great, they will even stretch a little after a couple of wears. No other issue with them, works great!

Very good for though swimming, will put a bit of a strain on your ankles, so if you have trouble with that joint, you might not want these, but they have incredible resistance which is excellent for muscle development.

They started to leave a blister after the first use, but I have slowly been acclimating to them and I think either they will break in or the skin on my ankle will toughen up. Swimming with them is fantastic. I am not a great swimmer, but I do much better and have more fun with these fins propelling me through the water.
