I love these for one basic reason
other than their durability, and that is because they do not keep rolling down a hill or a driveway after bring thrown. WE go back and forth between the front of the house where we have a driveway, and the back where we have rough shale and a steep mountain for our 3 dogs to play. These balls can be thrown on our paved driveway and they will not keep rolling to the bottom, where the road is. Regular green balls will keep rolling forever until they are way down in my neighbor's yard.

Long lasting chew toy!
I got this for my daughter's medium size dog who chews up ALL toys! This ball has lasted a long time! She chewed thru the rope the 1st night, but we can still play fetch with it!

Great buy can’t beat the price
The amount of people giving this incredibly affordable product a low rating because their dog “chewed right through it” ladies and gentlemen TUG TOYS are not meant to be chew toys. They are TUG toys for tugging with a human being. These are very popular for training. The rope is not great quality but honestly for the price it does great. 200+ lbs worth of 2 dogo argentinos pulling on this and it didn’t give out. I’m pretty impressed. Again the rope isn’t great. We also use the k-9 ops tug ball and it’s a lot better quality but 4 times the price of one of these. We use both I like both. I really appreciate the handle on these

Great for toss, but not independent play
My medium sized pup chewed through the rope in no time. I wish I had just set them aside for playing catch because i liked that I could either grab the ball or the rope depending on what part of the toy is in my dog's mouth. We still play catch with the remaining ball.Might have more luck if you have a smaller pup, a less exaggerated chewer, or if you set it aside for a game of catch only instead of letting your pup play with the toy by themselves like I did.

Too easily destroyed
I had searched for toys that were tough and not easily destroyed. My dogs love this style of toy for tug. My 10 month old Collie chewed this up within hours of getting it and it did not take long. I do not like that this can be chewed up and swallowed, as we did not find the missing piece. The description does say two Solid balls and one of them is Obviously NOT solid! Now I have to buy a new one that looks to be a much sturdier ball. I have not yet tried the larger one but it does look like a sturdy ball. I wanted one for in the house, and one for outside. Next day, he chewed thru the rope on the harder ball tug.
