Rothco Jungle Boots Work Boots Hiking Boots

I purchased a size 10 seeing that lots of people said they run large. I wear an 11 all day every day. Redwing work boots, any name brand shoe etc. 10's were to big. I ended up with a 9 and was still able to put in a nice gel insole. They are especially large in the toe box area. I took these on a trip to Canada and spent 7 days in a canoe and camping. The drain holes work great, they are light weight and dry out well. They never dried out all the way during the trip but in all fairness they didn't have much time. Maybe 8 hours overnight outside in the 50's. Getting to and from camp required being in the water and or nasty knee to waist deep mud. The grip of the sole was great on the rocks and multiple types of ground cover. Slippery on tree roots that were wet but otherwise i was impressed. Caring an 86 lb. canoe on your shoulders for half a mile soaking wet good footing in important. Defiantly a good purchase! Just go 2 sizes below what you normally use. The Insole i just used for comfort, the bottom of the boots is quite hard.

Saved a few bucks by buying a pair marked very good, but they look brand new to me, still had a tag on them. They arrived faster than I expected, a little roomy but that's by design, they lace up good and tight and should suit me just fine. Totally worth it.

I like the shoes. They are well made. They are versatile for many activities; However, they ones I received are a failure for me. I use a size 10 in mens. The ones I received are labeled size 10 in mens; But, they are 2 inches to long.

I have had these boots in the past and was quite happy to see they are still made. For the price they are awesome. They are hardy and durable. It's hard to find shoes/boots that don't fall apart. They are definitely quite weighty but I kind of like that. They are big and they have a presence for sure. Lots of complaints of others in regards to comfort - which I understand. They have some seems and the like on the inside, but I just throw a pair of insoles in and a pair of thick socks and call it a day.

I got these for Airsoft... sprained my ankle the first time I used them. These boots suck and are uncomfortable as all hell, even with Dr.Sholes and thick socks my feet are still getting all beat up. It's just not worth it as you end up spending another $30 on top and they are still uncomfortable. I would say do yourself a favor and get some ~$80 boots that are way more comfortable. The only good thing about these boots is the drain holes. Also I'm size 11 1/2 and the 10s fit me fine.

I had these for about 3 months now. I'm rough on my boots don't get me wrong. But this was like tearing paper apart.they fit a little weird, at first it scraped against my heels. They don't have insoles either. And after so long is using them the bottom of the boot gets thin. To the point I can feel pebbles under my feet. They look good though. That's about all they've got going for them. Not even waterproof.
