EZ-Freeze Cereal on the Go (Colors May Vary)

I love this thing! I use it to take cereal to work. I have not had any problems with the milk leaking. Sometimes the milk gets slightly frozen, so I've started taking the container out of the freezer about 30 minutes before I leave for work and it stays cold but doesn't freeze the milk. The cereal compartment is a little bit small, but it's a good portion if you are trying to eat healthy. It holds about 1 cup of Cheerios, which seems small but it's the serving size on the box. I know that this thing is probably made for kids, but I've found it very handy. It is very easy to wash by hand so I can use it every day.

This is a great little convenience. It doesn't leak and it keeps the milk super cold. So cold, some of the milk was frozen to the side of the cup which is OK because I'm weird and I don't mind eating frozen milk. It is perfect for someone trying to watch their portion size. The bowl holds about a cup of cereal and the cup holds about half a cup of milk.The negatives are 1)you can't pick your color so if you are buying this for a boy, he may end up with a very pink cup and, 2) if you aren't trying to control your portion size you only get a half a cup of milk.Very handy for taking breakfast to the office or sending breakfast to school with your kids.

It sounds like a great idea . . . but it's not well executed. The gel in the bottom part of the container is so cold that the milk comes out in frozen lumps when we get to school. And the lid to the top part -- that holds dry cereal and then serves as the bowl -- is a snap-on, not watertight. So unless your child is a stickler for emptying the thing out completely after breakfast, you can expect spilled milk in her backpack every afternoon. The spoon is flimsy, but kind of usable -- the "cool" factor outweighs the fact that it's too shallow to eat cereal with (at least for my four year-old). All in all, it could use a redesign.

Product works well enough keeping milk cold and cereal crisp, but the sizes of the two containers seems off to me. Because of the thickness of the gel-cooled milk container, it hardly holds any milk. Certainly not enough to cover the much larger volume of cereal in the top container. Only used once for cereal. Maybe I will use it for fruit on the bottom and granola on top instead.

This cute little container is absolutely perfect for taking cereal and milk with me to work. I add my cereal and fruit to the bowl on the top and my milk of choice to the bottom and I have everything I need for breakfast. The top "bowl" easily holds a half cup of cereal plus a half cup of fruit and the bottom holds about 4 oz of milk. Those who are complaining that it is too small are probably used to eating well over one serving of cereal. I am trying hard to keep my portions in control and this container helps me to do that. I usually just fill the container the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight because I eat it right after I arrive at work and don't want to have frozen milk. The milk is cold from the gel having been refrigerated.It is also great for carrying yogurt and fruit or cereal toppings to go with it.And there is no mess if you use it correctly. Remove the cereal lid, take out the spoon, unscrew the cereal bowl and place it on the inverted lid..then add your milk. Any milk that may have splashed onto the bottom of your bowl is not on your desk...it is in the lid.And for those who are concerned, I checked their website and this product is BPA free.

The quality of this product is terrible. The plastic is very cheap. When I received the item, the gel had leaked out, the spoon does not stay in the lid and the gasket seal fell out. Steer clear! I actually have a cereal taker that I purchased several years ago through Curves and the quality is so much better. Great concept, but the quality of this one is lacking. Returning for refund.

To all of you who say this is way too small, one serving of cereal is only 3/4 of a cup.What it can hold:Description says the milk container is 5.7 oz which is .71 cups or almost 3/4 of a cup. It only holds 1/2 cup of milk.Description says the cereal container is 12 oz which is 1 1/2 cups (1.5). It only holds 1 1/4 (1.25) cups.I use one serving size which is typically between 3/4 to 1 cup of cereal and 1/2 cup of milk (yeah that is all it holds) and it is just enough milk for one serving.Complaints on milk freezing - place the gel cup in the refrigerator instead of the freezer to get it cold and the milk will not freeze and it stays plenty cold.The spoon is not sturdy. I discarded mine and use a real spoon.No leaks.Cleans easily.Happy cerealing.

I first saw this at my local Rite-Aid and thought it was a really cool idea. But the purchase price seemed absurd. I can't remember what it was, but it was enough for me to pass it by and wish it were cheaper. I then decided to see if it could be found on Amazon (seems like everything can be found on here!). It was cheaper, and with Amazon Prime, I got free shipping. So it was a done deal.I use this for Kashi crunch cereal and Fage yogurt. It works great! It's very handy to toss in my lunchbag for work. Granted, I have a fridge, so don't really need the freezing part on the bottom. But I use it anyway so that I know for sure my dairy stays fresh between home and work. I measure my food for calorie tracking, but the portions I measured out fit perfectly in each compartment, so I don't even have to measure anymore. This is the perfect size for me.
