Easy, lightweight, roomy-ish, and pretty tent!
I am fairly new to camping and I bought this 2 person tent as my first tent in 2020. I chose it because it is 3 season, the reviews said it was roomy for a 2 person tent and that the rainfly was effective, and I love the color (and price point!). It has been perfect! It is easy to set up, even on my own when I go solo camping (I'm a 5'2" woman and had never set up my own tent before), and definitely is roomy for 1 person and works fine for 2 people. The front and back vestibules (when the rainfly is on) are really helpful for storing shoes and also providing a bit of a screen first thing in the morning when opening up the entrance. The rainfly was effective during some light showers last time I was camping, and the interior hook and pockets are really helpful (especially if 2 people are in the tent, since there is not much additional floor space). I did hand sew in some cords inside on the seam allowance to hang string lights which I love but of course isn't necessary :).The tent packs up really well in the provided duffle and is small enough that when I took a friend with a tiny apartment camping she got very excited that she might be able to store some camping essentials, which she previously hadn't thought possible. My only slight issue has been that the tent stakes can bend pretty easily if you use a mallet or your foot, so if you camp often on harder or rocky ground you may need to invest in some higher quality stakes (I haven't had an issue re-using the bent ones on softer dirt, and the set does come with extra if you do bend one and can't use it, which is great). I definitely did also buy the footprint that comes separately - if you are very good about folding your tent you can fit that into the duffle bag as well. All in all this has been a great tent - I've used it in sweltering heat in sand dunes in Texas and in 35 degree F January nights in California and it has held up beautifully.

Excellent tent - light, compact, water-proof, and spacious - at a very affordable price!!!
I was overall very happy with this tent. I bought it in preparation for a backpacking trip with my kid. I originally bought the North Face 3-people tent for $230 but when it arrived, it felt too heavy and bulky. Then I saw this tent on Amazon for a 1/3 of the price with such good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. After going on the trip, here are my conclusions:1) It is ultra-light AND super compact - it folds to a relatively small size which makes it very convenient to carry.2) It is very easy to assemble.3) It is very spacious on the inside. There were just two of us, but even with a third person it seemed that there was more than enough space for three people and the equipment. also - I am 6'3" tall and had more than enough space for myself and my long mattress.4) There are two fairly sizable exits making it very convenient to go in and out, and the zippers are super smooth and relatively quiet (so you don't wake up your crew if you go out in the middle of the night).5) It was raining ALL night. In the morning, the outside of the tent was covered in water drops but the inside remained completely dry! Some potential cons:1) I have only used it once so far. I would say that the material felt thinner and cheaper vs. the North Face tent, and I don't know how durable this tent is in the long run compared to some more expensive ones, but as long as you remain gentle when building and folding it, it felt like it could easily last for long.2) It comes without a footprint. I would recommend buying a footprint separately to make sure you keep the bottom of the tent safer. The case has more than enough room to fit the footprint inside when the tent is folded and packed. In conclusion - they definitely earned a 5-star review from me!

Water leaked through floor after light rain, 2 season tent /REVIEW EDITED AND UPPED 2 stars
Review edit:I was contacted by Clostnature to inquire about any problems that I might have had with the tent after I posted my first review. That alone is a very positive sign, as it shows a company with a culture of looking out for their customers and standing behind their products. But that's not the reason I gave the more stars :) . The truth is, before that, I was already wondering if I was being too harsh on the tent. Only way to find out was to take it out, and that we did: went on a hiking /camping trip for a couple of nights, deep into a pine forest in relatively high altitude, but definitely not relative cold nights. Here's what I found out:1. Tent had enough space for my wife, 2 children (a small 6 year old and a lanky teen). We weren't crowded at all, and while 4 adults will probably bee way too cramped together, for a family like ours it was perfect.2. Vestibules were great for our gear, easily taking our backpacks and assorted camping stuff.3. The importance of having 2 entrances cannot be overstated, as people exit and enter the tent for various reasons while others rest.4. We had to bunker down a bit because of the cold, but in the morning we had NO condensation whatsoever. This I found to be fairly impressive! good job there, Clostnature. So before I mentioned I was wondering if I was being too harsh on the tent. The reason is, I started suspecting my experience with water sipping thru the inner might have been a user error, not a product error. I went over the terrain and I think that there are areas where water could have easily pooled up, or the footprint sagged and got water in a pool in it and this THEN started filtering trough the floor. I am, to be honest, not sure if that is what happened, but can hardly give a bad review to a product while there is a chance that I didn't set it up correctly in the first place right? so that's fixed. Will wait for rainy season to put this matter to rest. OTHER than that, tent behaved superbly in our camping trip ,and I am looking forward to putting much more use on it, cheers.---Below, ORIGINAL version of the review, which has now been updated. Left for reference only---.Bought this tent (4 person version) AND the Clostnature footprint for it, with plans of taking the family thru some short backpacking stints. Set it up on my backyard for 5 days to test it, and this is what happened:1. The tent comes very nicely packaged on a carrybag, and includes the rainfly, tent itself, stakes, poles.2. The setup is very easy, with virtually no instructions and certainly no experience my 6 year old daughter and I were able to set it up in 5 minutes or so.3. We set it up in a mostly even area in the backyard. Nothing that would even begin to rival conditions on actual outdoors.4. Had two of the stakes bend easily while setting up. Ordered replacement stakes.5. Spent a couple nights on the tent, and glad to report it held well to the cold and to mid gusts of wind.On the 4 night, it rained a bit.6. Woke up to wet feet and was very dissapointed to notice the tent was leaking BADLY on the floor. What happened was the footprint gathered some rain, forming a small pool, and this pool then leaked almost whole unto the tent. Not talking drops here, it was VERY much full of water in the area where it happened. So that would be my ding for this tent. While I can certainly use it (with the family) during the dry months, I would NOT take it out during the rainy season, or even to a wet, humid forest. The risk of having water come thru the floor again is too big. And I was using the footprint, which is all about protecting the tent better. So to recap: 2 stakes bent easy, but more seriously water came in thru the tent floor. And no the good boy didn't come into the tent.Come on Closnature, should have done better.OTHER than that, prior to the rain, spent a nice evening with my daughter just looking at the stars through the mesh, so that was nice :).
