Could be better but no regrets buying it
So the design and colour are what sold this to me. The reviews yes weren't fantastic but I'm a very laid back soul so waiting a bit longer for my bread to toast doesn't bother me. So having followed instructions to prime the elements in the toaster before use it still seems to take a long time/ being set at almost the highest setting to toast our bread how we like it. But yes I don't mind. Others might. So maybe keep it in mind.

Has shallow slots
It's a basic toaster that does the job. Be aware however whilst the slots are wide and accommodate thick slices they are not over deep. That results in some types of bread -farmhouse etc sticking out the top and you have to flip it upside down half way through the cycle to get a properly toasted slice!!
