No project box? No problem.
Decided on this because of the fast ship time even though it didn’t have a project box and I was glad. Most other LoRa radios have an antenna that isn’t tuned for 915 MHz (the frequency used in the USA) but I tested this antenna and it was 1.8 SWR (below 2 is acceptable). I decided to get a little creative and used the plastic box it came in as the project box and I’m pretty pleased with myself. I used a 1/4 inch drill bit (by hand) to make the antenna port in the box and a 7/64 inch drill bit (again by hand and a pocket knife and patience) to make the USB C port in the box. All in all took about a half hour and works great. Even has room for a battery if I want to add one.

Easy to Set Up! Working great!
The media could not be loaded. I made a waterproof case out of a relish jar and some plumbers putty… instead of paying $25 or more for a 3D-printed one. I’m excited because more and more nodes are showing up daily here. This may be an important SHTF communication channel that doesn’t rely on cell-towers. The more nodes, the better. I recommend using the “Long-Fast” setting. Please consider being part of this important initiative. 😀👍🏻👍🏻

Works great
Works great, runs the latest firmware. Note that the include antenna works as expected, but don't expect to communicate long distances without upgrading.

Meshtastic is fun and easy with this
Works well. Uses more current than others and the battery charge circuit is very slow- but overall it is a great way to get into lora

So easy with Meshtastic!
These were so easy to program with Meshtastic.org flasher. They worked immediately, and the tutorials are amazing. I was sending messages between archaic android phones that i thought were garbage, now i have a way too text my kids at school and know they have no internet access but a life line to me... awesome hardware product.

Deceptive antenna information
The "915MHz" antenna is actually tuned a 880MHz, making it useless for the USA. The board appears to work OK but has no range whatsoever because of the antenna. PLEASE USE THE RIGHT ANTENNAS WITH YOUR PRODUCTS!!!!

Good Meshtastic Device
Good quality device for a Meshtastic build. Fit my 3D case and works great.

defective charge circuit
After attempting to troubleshoot this issue for the past few days, I have come to the conclusion that the charge circuit is defective but not until after taking my battery to a damagingly low voltage. Thanks for that. Anyway, it's going to have to be going back and I will order a new one, which is an enormous waste of time.
