Vector Mechanics for Engineers: Statics and Dynamics

It's a bootleg copy of the actual book. Pages are little downsized but they are all there, and no color, black&white print only. Considering printing the pages will cost much more than this book it's actually a great deal. I also don't feel too bad about taking notes on the book. If you can’t afford the actual book I recommend to get this version for sure.

I wish I had had this book or a book of this quality and comprehensiveness when I was University. Well written, with plenty of examples and problems (incl. solutions) to practice.Top Shelf

I bought this book for an online summer static class only to get near the end of the course and realize it is completely missing Chapter 8. When I sorted the loose leaf book after buying it, it appeared to be in order and I only had to arrange it in 3 ring binders. In hindsight I should have checked ALL the page numbers and not the chapters I separated. Some of the pages had hole punches that were torn as well but other than that the condition was not terrible. Just missing chapter 8 on Friction and Wedges.

My daughter uses this book for class, she didn't know chapters 9 and 10 (or 10 and 11?) are missing and she has an exam this week...

This seller is claiming this version is the same as the US edition, but it is not, Buyer Beware.

I'm early in a statics course. I've probably done about 20 practice problems from chapters 1-4.One of them had an incorrect answer in the answer key (which I confirmed with my professor), which drove me up the wall. I spent hours going over what I could possibly have been doing wrong.Another problem is only solvable using techniques introduced two chapters later. Trying to solve it without those techniques led me round and round in circles, thinking I must have missed or misunderstood some critical concept from earlier in the textbook.While the content of the textbook is fine, these issues with the practice problems have wasted a lot of my time, caused stress, and have undermined my confidence in advance of exams.
