This thermometer is superb! It was incredibly easy to insert the batteries and set it up. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The thermometer is very easy to operate, and the trigger is easy to pull and requires very little force. The display is large and easy to read,, even for senior citizens. The batteries last a long time and are a breeze to replace. The thermometer is also very durable and lightweight, so you can easily travel with it. It’s also easy to clean, so it could be used on multiple different people without worrying about spreading germs. The temperature can be displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius. In short, this is a highly effective, reliable, durable and affordable thermometer. I highly recommend it for personal use or use in home healthcare.

Taking my temperature is easy. Unit has a digital readout. Hold it 1-2 inches from my Forehead, push the button and get your temperature. Simple. Great product.....Worth the money.

I am yet to find a toddler thermometer that is deadly accurate and easy to get a reading on a grumpy and sick little person. This is just as accurate as the many ear or forehead thermometers I’ve tried and I don’t have to actually make contact with the angry little bear. I take a handful of readings and average them out and it seems to give me the gist.

I bought this to replace my old hand held thermometer. It was easy to set up and works great. Display turns red when detecting a fever. Very useful.

Bought it for my child and it is very convenient to use

We bought this because our last forehead thermometer didn’t seem to be accurate enough. This one seemed to have a good reviews so we thought it might be better. We have a rectal thermometer for when we need to check it. We just wanted something for the forehead to be able to do spot checks to determine if a more accurate temperature might be needed. This one has been all over the place we can have our child holding completely still holding in the exact same place more than once and get normal three times in a row and then get 101 and then get 99.8 and so on. It is virtually useless.

I've used an oral thermometer for years. So finally transitioning to an instant digital one is a huge step. I am happy with this choice and it works very well. I can even press the "surface temperature" button and check the temperature of my hat bath water. Pleased.

Night shift nurse here! I work in a place where the thermometers all like to play hide and seek, and damn they’re good at it! I really needed my own fast and accurate thermometer and decided to get a temporal no touch one so I could take temps without waking up my patients. Silly me, I didn’t think to check wirecutter’s reviews first and bought one that had good reviews, but it started never reading above 97.9 degrees. When I checked out Wirecutter, they listed this and two other brands that are exactly the same and stated to buy whichever was cheapest. Well this was cheapest. I’ve been using it a couple months now, even dropped it once, and it still reads consistent and close to the oral temp. It will never be the same, but it correlates. Definitely recommend for accuracy, ease, and durability. Using this at work, I really appreciate the ability to recall more than just the most recent reading. I’ve been known to look at the same temp 4 times before remembering what I saw! It has a good battery life so far too!
