Small and lightweight scale that gets the measurement right!
To diet successfully, ive had to change not only the foods that I eat, but also how much. With my new digital kitchen scale, I can easily weigh out what I'm eating and get a much better idea as to the actual calories. My "Diet Cookbook" talks about "a boneless skinless chicken breast" but unless I weigh the actual one I bought, I don't know if I'm going to end up eating 300, 400, or even 500 calories. When you're trying as hard as you and I do to lose the extra weight, those kinds of varainces can make the difference between success and, well just get this scale. It works easily, cleans even more easily, and was really a great value.

Perfect for traveling!
Nice little scale for weighing my food portions. Haven't used it yet, so I expect it to be accurate. Platform is small but it will fit nicely in my carry on bag when I travel. However it's kind of assembled poorly, the protective wrapper is peeling off and has been cut crooked. As long as it works!

I'm very impressed...
I like this one. It is simple and easy to operate, easy to read, easy to maintain, store, and carry with you. Extremely portable, and does not feel cheap at all. Oh and it is also quick, accurate, and I haven't had to take things off and place them back on it to get a reading... in other words, I don't get the "Error" message that you get with some digital scales where it couldn't determine the weight, so it gives an error and you have to take the weight off, wait for it to clear, and try again, you won't have to worry about that with this one!

This is not a good scale for any application
PLEASE STOP AND READ, LOOK AT THE OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS. This is not a good scale for any application. The look of is is nice, the construction is decent. This product is extremely unreliable and general off by more than .2-.3 grams. First of all the product will hardly ever register anything under a gram. I will consistently receive different weight readings for the same item. Sometimes it will reset itself while the item is on it, causing the wight to show as 0 then once the item is removed go into the negatives like -.04 or -.06 Do yourself a favor, spend a few bucks on a scale that is higher quality. You get what you pay for with this, and it isnt much. People who dont know scales will think this is good, it isnt.

Great scale that meets my needs
I'm a quad copter hobbyist and this scale lets me know how much the quad I'm building weighs. This is useful because the FAA requires us to register quad's that weigh over .55 pounds (250 grams). This scale weighs in many units so I think it'll work for anyone needing accurate weighing of items up to 6.6 pounds, or 3000 grams. The clear case protects the scale from damage and also works as a container to hold small items that might roll off the platform. There is also a calibration function so if you think the scale is not weighing accurately you can put a known weight on the scale and recalibrate.I'm happy with the product, the price, the buying experience, and the delivery time. I'm a Prime member so it was oh so fast!

Package is weak. Machine works ok if it arrives safely
Absolute piece of junk. Total waste of money. Came in the mail in a cheap envelope with barely any padding. Must have arrived broken, being thrown around. It doesn't say anywhere on the package that it needs to be handled with care, so I assume it was thrown around and got broken. Why send it to me this way? Besides, the instruction manual is junk too. How am I supposed to scale something, to have to first calibrate it, but it asks for something that actually weighs 3000g, when I don't have a scale to begin with to know what weighs 3000g? The whole point of this was to get a scale so I can weigh things, not have to calibrate it with something I don't have the exact weight for! And the plate spring gets stuck, so it's always twitching something a few grams here and there or so it thinks. There is also no re-set button, so there is no way to know if it's gone back to zero. I took out the batteries to let it die, thinking that might reset it, but it doesn't. It also says "Calibration : Auto Calibration" on the box, but yet it tells you to use a 3000g item to calibrate it. That's called MANUAL calibration, not auto! Will somebody send me an object that weighs exactly 3000g so that I can calibrate this thing? Also on the box is says "Auto Off: 60 Seconds" yet the Manual inside says 180 seconds!!!!! Hahaahahhahahahahahahahaha what a joke this thing is. I so want to throw it into the ocean along with all my previous cellphones and computers that did these sorts of things (sorry that was a joke, of course, I would never pollute). Thanks.Edit 5/18/16. Original machine went haywire, as you can see from my initial review. The seller sent a new one immediately and I received it, but it came in the same, weak, cheap, thinly-padded envelope with no label on the outside that should say "Handle With Care Sensitive Electronic Item" but then again, who would send such items in such a weak packaging? I wouldn't care either, if I were the post office, seeing a weak package like that. The new machine works fine, but lets see if it continues to work.

Excellent Scale for the money
The unit performs very well, stable and quick. Accurate within 0.1 compared with a Sartorious balance and cheap weight set. It is small and takes up little room. Back light turns off 20 sec, auto off at 1 min to save battery. But don't expect reliable results 0-1 gram. It slides easily on the hard plastic round feet, plan to get small rubber feet to stop sliding. If you need near 0.1 gram accuracy, this is a great choice for the cost.

Good size, bad overall performance and battery life
The scale is very compact and portable with two nice plastic protective covers which also serve as small weighing trays. The display is black-lit and easy to read. Overall construction could be better as it wobbles a little bit and required a taped cardboard piece under one of its corners for it to be stable and flat on my counter. My biggest issues with this scale are its battery life (batteries last 2 weeks tops with light daily use) and that calibration requires a 3-kg standard weight. Who uses a 3-kg weight standard? Could have been a very good compact scale, but good performance does not last very long. I would not recommend spending much on this product.
