Great bulb - see a general LED suggestion
To be clear, as these reviews often get combined with similar review for lights of varying brightness, the light I'm reviewing is a 3200k, 700lm 6W - 70 watt soft white equivilant. I absolutely love this light and the Edison style has an amazing antique look. I purchase the CRLight brand as I've had no problems with failing or flickering bulbs with this brand. I've also noticed consistency and predictability in the brightness of the bulbs - important if your using them in a multibulb fixture. I purchased a higher watt light than needed, but got a dimmable light so I could control the brightness. Note, you must use a special dimmer for CFL and LED bulbs to prevent flickering and buzzing. I suggest getting a smart or Zwave/Zigbee compatible dimmer - they are about $38, but they work great. Research the dimmers before purchasing as some do not work well with very low watt LEDs (under 6w) and some times they won't even turn off (Lutron dimmers had this problem once as well as others). While this is only my preference, I suggest getting a higher watt and warmer light, but use a dimmer to control the brightness. I actually purchased a 2400k very warm light to replace this on for use on my back porch. It produces a warm light when sitting outside, but I can crank the brightness up when I need extra light. For most uses I recommend a warm 2700k bulb. Many people who go with a 3200k soft white equivilant complain they are too bright. As I've had many of these I think in most cases it's not the color as much as a 6w 600lm or 60w equivilant LED is almost alway brighter when used to replace a 60 watt bulb.I hope this review helps you with your purchase.

Because I’m a lightbulb snob
These are the only clear bulbs that I have found that give the perfect color of light. Crisp, clean light. Not yellow, not blinding blue, just light! They are comparable to the GE reveal which I loved but needed Edison style.

A+ customer service
Great looking bulbs. One came broken in the box. The bottom inside of the bulb where the filament is located was cracked. It wouldn’t have bothered me, but these were going in upside down outdoor lights.I hooked the cracked one up just curious to see if it still worked and it did! Same brightness and everything as the other bulb. Just the filament was way off center.I emailed CRLight and sent them a photo of the bulb. This was on a Sunday. They emailed me back 4 hours later! I was surprised. They just wanted my order number and description of product so I gave it to them right away. It wasn’t even an hour and they said “no problem we’ll ship two new bulbs right away.” That Friday I received my bulbs in the mail. Great customer service. Great company and awesome lights!

Great bulb design but 3000K still a bit too blue
I really like the glass + filament design - they disperse light much more evenly than 'conventional' led bulbs. These were the only 100W 3000K bulbs in that style that I could find anywhere. I have several of the 2700K warm whites at home and although they are very nice they still have just a tad of yellow to them, and the 4000K cool whites I had previously tried were way too blue so I returned them. So I was hoping that these 3000K temp bulbs would split the difference. No longer having the 4000K bulbs to compare against, these 3000K bulbs are still a bit too blue for my taste - I was wondering if perhaps they were mislabeled 4000K bulbs since the 3000K seems an unusual temp, but I can't really tell other than they're definitely not 2700K yellow. None of this is the vendor's fault - the bulbs themselves seem well built and are labeled 3000K on the package, so I used these in a different location where the cool temp has less impact in the room. But the design of these filament style bulbs in general is great - they throw the light MUCH more evenly than the standard style led's that only light up the top half of the bulb. When used in a shaded lamp they are definitively better than standard bulbs. But for now I'm going to stick with the 2700K because if I need to compromise on color I'll lean towards yellow over blue for my eyes.

Found the Right Color Edison
We tried three different Edison light bulbs for our powder room remodel, and could not find the color temperature that would complement the mosaic tiles behind the light fixture. The first two tries were with 2200K and 2700K bulbs, both casting too much yellow on the light blue and tan tiles. We tried the CR Light 4000K/80 watt bulbs which were much too bright for the small space and way too white (dimmer didn't help in our situation). The 3200K/60 watt bulb finally was just right, bringing out the tile hues more accurately and giving a perfect brightness level. The bulbs do not buzz with a LED compatible dimmer.Attached is a photo showing a clear 60 watt incandescent bulb on the left which also cast more yellow than we desired. We are glad Amazon carries this product as we could not find this solution at local hardware and lighting stores. The Amazon return process was exceptional as we returned the unwanted bulbs free of delivery charge and received replacements the next day.

Edison bulbs with plenty of light output.
I couldn’t find LED Edison bulbs locally with enough horsepower so I gave these a try. In a bathroom, I wanted high lumens, not soft candlelight. Although they are pricey, they perform exactly as I wanted. And they work perfect with a dimmer.
