Definitely one of my favorite tools to use when decorating cookies, cakes, and cupcakes. Love that they’re easy to clean, as I just toss everything into the top rack of my dishwasher, and they’re super easy to use!! Highly quality, durable, and well worth the price!

This kit is easy enough to use and it's fairly simple to get the icing into the bags. However, I noticed that when using the larger cupcake frosting applicator, it sometimes blew air while piping, which would interrupt the icing flow and mess up the design. This was frustrating when trying to get a clean, consistent look on cupcakes.On the other hand, the smaller tips worked much better—especially for more detailed designs like gingerbread cookies. I’ve only used this kit for home baking (nothing professional), and for casual decorating, it gets the job done.I do like that it's reusable and generally convenient, but the inconsistency with the larger tips affects the overall experience. Good enough for us, but probably not ideal for more advanced or professional use.

Prepworks by Progressive 8-Piece Frosting Bulb Decorating Kit is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted some frosting bulbs, but couldn’t find good ones anywhere. These are so much easier than a frosting bag. Just fill it up, put the cover and the tip of your choice on, and squeeze! It’s simply amazing. No more frosting popping out of holes in bag or coming out of the top of the bag. Also, this is these are very easy to clean. I thought it might be a little hard, but it isn’t.I use these with my metal Wilton tips. They fit fine. The 6 tips that come with these frosting bulbs are the same size as regular metal Wilton frosting tips. I can now use my many fancy designs of Wilton frosting tips without frosting getting all over. It stays in the bulb and only comes out when squeezed.I like that it comes with 2 bulbs, not just one, because that means I can use more than one color at a time. Each bulb comes with its own plastic piece to hold the frosting tip in place. And best of all, you can change the tip while you’re using it. It isn’t like a bag, where you have to put the tip through the whole bag. The tips screw onto these bulbs from the outside, which makes it much easier to change tips when you’re in middle of using a color.I am beyond satisfied with this product and would highly recommend to others.

This silicone bulb is such an innovative idea and seemed like it would be an easy way to ice cupcakes. However, it requires a great amount of squeezing the bulb and as a 68-year old, my hand hurt after about 5 minutes and I had only done about a dozen cupcakes. I actually bought a second set of these for my sister, who is 75, but I'm going to return that order and give her one of mine instead. My icing was not thick. Any thinner and it wouldn't hold any shape so it wasn't the icing. It's just really hard to keep squeezing to get the icing out.

I made stuffed philo dough straws and used this to fill the dough with Nutella ! So easy to use!

For years I used an old-fashioned cloth bag with a tip, constantly struggling with leaks and producing uneven designs. With this set, the pressure is easy to sustain, my designs look professional, and I don’t dread decorating cakes any longer.

Works well but it does not fit a lot of icing. You do have to constantly keep refilling it, which by the end does get a little old but if you are not making to many cupcakes it is fine
