When Angels Cry: The Unbelievable Mr. Brownstone, Book 6

This book was a gift so soon after the last one. There is so much more character development, many laughs and much head scratching as James deals with the 2 women in his life. I absolutely love this series! The tightrope James walks with law enforcement, his ties to his church, his inherent sense of duty and loyalty, his background...so many more stories to be told! I can't wait! And, I think we may have BBQ competitions in future books!! 5 stars! Don't miss this fabulous story!

I love how the brownstone family is growing! The characters are developing and having mini story's of their own with in the brownstone book. Great read!! More brownstone!! No, I mean it, if there was anything I would say about this books is that it did need more Brownstone. It felt like he was just a bit of a filler in this book but it was great non the less to see how all the other secondary characters are developing and we need more Shay too. I don't know if your purposefully keeping her on the DL because she has her own series but if she is brownstone girl, she needs to be more present

As always James is helping out the little angels! His was quite the barbecue romp in Vegas and now the evil experimentation has been exposed! And I still laugh at his inner and outer dialogue! Good to see Trey growing and getting family back. I wonder how Dina will develop over the years ... I still want to know more about his artifact and heritage but maybe in Shays next book there will be some more answers. Definitely will be following all these perspectives.

The family man is still cleaning up, in more ways than one. Shay makes an appearance, sort of, and barbeque is the start of new things for the next book. You can feel what the characters are feeling as the story goes. Really good book and stays true to the previous books. Looking forward to the next one, maybe more Drow.

James and his company are really cleaning up the bounties in this excellent addition to the series. The great characters and skillful writing continue. Thank you Michael for another amazing book.

A lot of action with a good plot, showing how helping those who need it can really show your life has meaning.

Another outstanding story that touches ALL the emotions! The only thing bad about these books are they are not long enough. I highly recommend this series.

I'm loving the characters and story more each book and will be reading the next book as soon as I finish this review as I have already bought it and my TBR pile is getting a bit big. Cheers!

Good sci fi book good writer well written lots of twists and turns part of a series lots of fights skirmishes ambushes and betrayals

Great read

I'm almost tempted to say this is getting boring, giving yet another LMBPN Publishing book 5 stars, but the one thing LMBPN books are not, and that is boring.If anything, the brownstone series are the furtherest from boring of any of Michael 's books. While this one may have eased up just a tad on the usual level of mayhem in others in the series I think it will become one of my favourites. Will probably have to read the whole series another two or six times to make sure but.
