How would I power these on if I it only has one wire since I’ll have to run a wire ?

If you plug in the plug it will run just like it should. The extra wire is to have the white light on when not using as a turn signal. That’s what I did. If you want the white light to be on while turn signals aren’t blinking then you will have to remove the panel inside the truck where the mirror attaches and run the wire to the power you want to use for it. Hope that helps.
