They work great for my wife who can't stand in the shower having to use a shower chair.

Great for those coming home from the hospital, freshen up kids hair, camping.....
The first time I've ever used one of these hair washing caps was in a long stay at the hospital. I remember how good it felt to have clean hair. It made me feel happier and healthier after just one use. I have these at home for when I don't feel well enough to wash my hair or when I'm in a hurry I do not have time to wash it. I gave some to my mom daughter and granddaughter as well and they've enjoyed them when they did to use them.

Not suitable for all hair types.
If you heavily condition your hair normally, this would probably be ok. If, like me, you have normal(or even naturally greasy) hair that you don’t condition, or only lightly condition, this won’t be the product for you. I’m having shoulder surgery in a few days & no use of that arm for 6wks. I’ve been down this road before & trying to wash my hair is extremely cumbersome and overly painful. I needed something I could do with 1 hand in a comfortable position. While this was crazy easy to use, and it smells good, it is not as mess free as you’d believe from the product description. You need to be bent over to pull it on your head to avoid the liquid running out. Then stay bent over for the 3 minutes required. And this wouldn’t be any easier to use one handed. I have long hair(waist length) that I cut yesterday to shoulder length to have an easier time using the cap, but my hair was still not short enough to be able to successfully use the cap one handed. After use: I wash my hair every other day with an organic shampoo. It is fairly normal, I use a light leave-in conditioner spray after every wash & it normally takes 3-4 days to look like it needs washed again. The cap left my hair somewhat slimey and after I dried it , it immediately looked like a teen going through rough puberty in a brutally hot & humidity Deep South summer hadn’t washed in a handful of days. Now, that may be because I didn’t rinse, but rinsing was not supposed to be required. All things considered, it’s definitely not a product for people with normal hair to use after a surgery/during recovery.

Clean hair no mess no fuss
These shampoo caps are wonderful if you can't wash your hair the traditional way. Your hair smells and feels good; and styles well. I received the product on-time and packaged well. Product is as described.

Easy to use
This was such a great idea. Great for those who can't get out of bed often or bedridden. It's so easy to use & it does a great job. I open the package, stick in microwave for 15 secs, need it thru the package to spread the shampoo around & to make sure it's not to hot in one spot. Then you cover loved ones head trying to get as much under cap as possible and massage for 3 or 4 minutes (or 30 mins as my mother in law says it takes that long to saturate the hair throughly). Then pull the cap off & throw away. Then fluff, comb or style hair however your loved one prefers it. They will enjoy clean, fresh smelling hair, be more comfortable and happy. It's the little things that make the biggest impacts.

Easy to use
They did clean the hair and are fairly easy to use but left a film and dripped all down the face making a big mess.

Medusa Shampoo Cap washes your hair when you can’t get a normal wash.
Medusa Shampoo caps are great when you can’t wash your hair. You just add a little water to the cap and massage it into your scalp. I used one in the hospital. When a friend had surgery I sent her a pack. She really loved them. Much better than flowers.
