The fan is louder than I'd like. Is there a way to decrease the fan's speed?

Use the 3.3v pin for fan power instead of the 5v. It will run so quiet you won't even hear it. It will run a bit slower, but you normally won't need that level of cooling unless you're doing some really heavy computational work. Can this Raspberry Pi case be wall mounted?

Yes, if you're careful. There are 3 holes in the lower-most layer of the case; two cross-shaped holes and one slot-shaped hole. You should stick on 4 of those self-stick rubber "feet" on the bottom of the case to create a gap between the case and the wall (leaves room for air flow and makes it easy to work with the little nuts on the bolts that hold the case together). Take care to make sure any bolt heads that you use to mount the case to the wall DO NOT touch any of the Pi board circuits on the bottom of the Pi circuit board. If they do, you can potentially create some short circuits.
