My 6 year old had been chewing his pencils in class so I topped them with these things. He loved them and no longer chews. His never fell apart and he was a pretty aggressive chewer.

These are wonderful! I have a student in my class (6th grade ELA) that was chewing up pens and anything he could put in his mouth. He chews gum most of the time at home, but it is not allowed at school. I purchased these for him and all of his teachers say he is concentrating better and they are not worried about him swallowing or inhaling something!

I got this for one of the kids in my class. He has sensory issues and he eats erasers and any other items he has access to (paper, crayons, marker tips, etc). When he has the chewy on his pencil he chews it instead. I also am a chewer. My EA teases me endlessly about chewing lid pens. Not going to lie, I have chewed one of these chewy toys as well....

Chewed the head off
The heads came off a little more easily than I had hoped. Otherwise, they are working well
