Perfect for any age!!!
I don't know why this surprised me because I have yet to find an NYX product I dislike, but I really think is awesome! I had never heard of a moisturizing primer but I desperately needed one. I'm 30 and my skin is changing a LOT. I used to have oily skin but find now that I am very dry. I use the Too Faced foundation and it just left me looking very matte and flat which I didn't like. But, since I got a few bottles of the foundation and a few different colors and never got to return any, I was determined to make it work! I also use the Smashbox original primer which is silicone based and that alone left me feeling blah, but works! I sometimes use this over the Smashbox primer or use this alone. Don't forget the skincare under your makeup is SO important to how your makeup will look. So I typically use: either a hyaluronic acid serum or a light oil on my skin first, then Neutrogena Hydroboost gel cream for extra dry skin. Let your moisturizer sit for a bit, then apply sunscreen, I use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid (I have sensitive skin and this does NOT bother my eyes at all + sits well over skincare & under makeup.) After doing my skincare I apply this product on top, I rub it in and pat it in some areas and it's like another surge of moisture, it feels amazing! It is cooling, calming to any flared up skin, I can add some below my eyes (just over the dark circles area not right up to my eyes) and it really does feel fantastic!! It feels like it almost has some hyaluronic acid in it to plump up your skin, but I'm not sure if it does or not. For anyone who thinks they have too dry of skin, they're too old for primers, or whatever issue your skin may have this stuff will work for you! I don't see it being a problem even on combination skin, or possibly even oily skin types. It isn't oily, greasy, or dewy in the sense that makes you feel like an oil slick. It does dry to a nice finish that I honestly think any age group would love. It also makes a great mid-day pick me up. Just get a few dots on your fingers and pat it on, don't rub since you don't want to smear that beautiful makeup, for an instant refresher! It does to help makeup last as well, especially when used in combination with another primer or a finishing spray but I don't think those are necessary. This stuff does a great job on it's own. As a professional makeup artist for about 12 years I am honestly very impressed! I will absolutely recommend this to others and I will be back to buy more. I have found that typically Amazon has the best prices for NYX. This product won me over for sure!!

Awesome
Right, so I lost my W7 primer. No clue, seriously, poof, no idea where it went. Here's the thing, I'm glad I did. As I've said before NYX is a favorite of mine for Drug Store level Makeup. As I've gotten older my skin has gotten drier. The silicone primer wasn't really working out for me anyway. This gave me an excuse to replace it.NYX Hydra Primer isn't a silicone primer, it's more of a moisturizer/primer. The first time I put it on I was doubtful. It's thin, it doesn't make sense as you smooth it on, but it works beautifully.First, it feels wonderful going on. Hydrating and smooth. I could see it actually soothing my skin, which was worth it for that. Since it is thin and hydrating I didn't feel like I had to limit it to my t-zone and chin areas. This is the first primer I've ever covered my entire face with a primer. Most have been to drying. What I found was it works in my favor on that scale as well. My look is far cleaner. It helps to cover my acne scars and hide uneven pigment. As far as longevity, my makeup stayed put far better than it did with the silicone primer. I'll be sticking with this one. Let's hope they don't decide to discontinue it. Cheers.

Tubes almost gone. I love nyx products! Would buy again.
The media could not be loaded. Nyx pore filler has always been my go to but I couldn’t find it so I order the hydra. It’s definitely more moisturizing but I have large pores and it didn’t blur them as much. The scent isn’t bad and did seem to make my makeup go on smoother and last a little longer.

Great NYX product
I LOVED this primer. It didn’t feel heavy or sticky, great product for the price. My foundation stayed put and did not separate (water based).

Mid 30’s dream come true
I love this primer. I’ve been using it a couple of years - I’m 35 now (everyone tells me I have incredible skin, & now mid 30’s I have to agree because it could be worse) so I have the aging thing happening, fine lines, loss of some plumpness, don’t hold moisture like I used to, mid twenties moisturizer was an option, approaching 30 it was a concern, mid 30’s it’s a routine! So atop being mid 30’s I also have some combo skin, the aging dryness & can seem droopy or less plump if not moisturized well & the problem with makeup wearing now - it seems to suck the moisture right out or wind up settling badly or soaking into the skin too much. If you’re not near your 30’s yet, I’m sorry you’re reading this but be prepared for it LOL, if you are - you KNOW what I’m talking about. This primer is the best! It’s a gel, smoothes on sooo easy, with a tiny amount. Isn’t sticky or tacky or greasy. Makeup goes on like a dream & stays ON TOP of the skin, without this primer my foundation looks like my skin sucked all the hydration from it into my pores & am left with weathered looking foundation regardless of the type of age perfect junk I use. This (reasonably priced drug store) primer is key & necessary for me with all makeup, light or heavy, powdered or not, dewy or matte looks, summer heat or winter cool, dry skin or oily skin 🤩 give it a try & you will be pleasantly surprised 💗 photo is in natural light with no filter using all drugstore products like this.

Not a lot for the money!
The product itself is just okay. It is very runny. Other reviews had mentioned this, but I didn’t fully understand the problem. I definitely understand it now. It pours out of the container when you try to use it. When you pay this much for a product, you want it to last. I feel like so much was wasted, because of the consistency. I just bought an Elf product that is better quality and costs less. No thanks!
