I bought these for the myself and the family for backups when the power fails. When they came, they were so lightweight, I thought "Oh no. These are really cheap."No! Not at all! Everyone loves them! They are really bright. They have all the functions described and the buttons are easy for arthritic or kid fingers to press. The recharge function is really nice--but the fact that they will keep a cell phone going in a pinch is even better. I live in a wet area--water has not been a problem with this light.We have all been surprised how much we like them. I use mine more often than the more expensive ones I own and just charge it while I use my computer. It's great--As good as comparable flashlights at a cheaper price!EDIT: I bought a bunch of these 16 months ago and gave them to family members for household blackouts for Christmas. Blackouts are not unusual in our area. The ability to keep the cell phone going was a bonus, so I sent some to out of state, younger family members for the holiday, as well.As I wrote before, because they are light and plastic, everyone was lukewarm to them. We thought they would be kinda cheap and not last.It is now 16 months later--and we love them!! They are so easy to plug in and keep charged, super bright, and work for a variety of tasks. Ours are always getting moved from room to room and have to be hunted for after being used for some activity. We use them more than any other flashlight in the house or car, even the more expensive ones. They charge fast, stay bright a long time, and seem hardy. We love them!

I bought this AlpsWolf LED Flashlight Spotlight Lantern (800LM, 3600 Capacity Battery) to use on our family farm where we keep cattle. The option between the spot light and lantern has worked perfectly for this. I've used the spot for searching for and locating animals (two new born calves, one late night broken fence escape attempt) and the lantern for walking pastures/fields and working on broken fencing.The lumens it produces have been more than needed, while impressing me as to the range/distance (my old eyes would need binoculars to make anything out this far away!).The included strap, while light weight, has proven handy. The option to flip the handle to use as a classic handle spot light is nifty. I also like the compact size relative to many larger spot lights. It's amazingly light weight but doesn't feel cheaply made.I've not had to use it yet in rain or wet conditions, so can't speak to that other than to say it looks well designed as to holding up under wet/damp conditions. The battery life has been quite impressive for my use. I appreciate having the charge level leds, tho I've yet used it anywhere close to requiring a deep charge, as only having needed it for around 3 hours thus far, so can't speak to it's accuracy/representation. I also like that the batteries are replaceable.At the $20 purchase price (including shipping), i consider it a bargain (so far...). If further usage continues as this positive, I'd definitely purchase again.

Perfect in every way. Brightness, weight and battery life

Love this handy, versatile flashlight. The USB charging works OK, unless it runs down during a power outage when you most need the light (and it the charge doesn't last too long). There is no backup to the USB or battery option unless you have a USB power pack. So you need to make sure it's always at full charge. Also, and somewhat irritatingly, the little door to the USB port can (and did) pop off and can not be re-connected, so the port is exposed to the elements.

After many months I will say this flashlight holds its charge for a really long time, I rarely charge it! It is very bright with many features and modes. The handle is comfortable and can adjust. Honestly I had more expensive flashlights and this is my favorite. I’ve had a few blackouts and this served as a great room light.

Product feels very light. I'm unsure of its durability. I'll hazard a guess it could hold many more batteries greatly extending its on times. I measured in excess of 9 hours of on time using the forward facing beam on its low setting before the battery died. And then over 12 hours using the side light on low. I'm pleased with the battery life, but who wouldn't want more? Plastic feels like it would break if dropped very hard. Has a shoulder strap and a flip out hanging point. I did not measure the times with the lamps on bright, as they might be too bright and therefore not as practical. It also has a nice flashing strobe for really getting attention and it will also be useful for roadside troubles with its red lamp or blinking red lamp. The charge level indicator is a nice touch. Its phone charger jack should probably be considered emergency use only as my phone sucked hard on the battery in the lamp, exhausting it quickly. Your mileage may vary.
