TimexWomen's TW5M07400 Ironman Classic 30 Mid-Size Blue Resin Strap Watch

Have had this watch for two years and it still works very well. Bought it to take on a kayak camping trip in Baja California and it held up great. One negative is that some of the symbols, like the alarm clock, are small and hard to read. The other negative is needing to review the directions to change the time for daylight savings, which are hard to remember. Otherwise, this is a good and durable watch for outdoor activities.

I wear this all time and only problem is with all the people who don’t wear a watch, constantly asking me what time it is! The good thing is that I can always answer!

This watch is advertised as water resistant to 100 m, but that is totally untrue. Three summers in a row when I went into a pool to do a few laps, I lost the display. It was supposedly repaired by Timex twice, but the same thing happened each time I tried to swim wearing the watch. Clearly Timex did not repair the watch, and it is not water resistant. I’ve also had trouble with the watch maintaining the correct day and date. I do not recommend this watch at all.

Just received my watch today. It is exactly what I was looking for and I LOVE it. I was a little worried the silver detail in the band would be too shiny for me. However, it is much more subtle than the pictures depict- which is exactly what I hoped for- and the overall navy color is perfect. Perfect size face that is easy to read and low profile on my wrist. The box arrived and it was almost certainly already opened and used before. I am hoping it was just returned by another person and will function okay. I will update my post in the future if the watch fails.

Any of the Ironman series are great. I love the outdoors woman look of this model without being too flimsy. This holds up to the roughest conditions I perform in.

The watch lasted me three years before the water resistance failed and it stopped working. I would wear it in the shower, working out and occasional swimming. The pattern on the band was just printed on and wore off quickly.It's a cheap watch, it works fine but will only last for a few years. I've had timex watches before that lasted longer. It is disappointing that the quality seems to be getting worse and they are not built to last more than a few years. Other than that I liked it. I have smaller wrists for a man and this watch fits me well.

I wanted a basic watch that I could exercise in and not worry about sweat etc. I have bought 3 of these. One for each of my 2 daughters and then one for me. These watches last for several years with a fair amount of abuse. It won't track steps like a fitbit type watch, but it does have a timer. The main thing I was looking for was durability.

I can't believe I went a couple of years without an Ironman watch. These are so practical. Just put it on and forget about it.

My daughter is happy. She wears it more than designer watch. Go figure..
