No they are mot teal feathers. Don’t buy it, poor quality. It fell apart after a few minutes of playing with it.

Where exactly on the green-tailed bird is the plastic tab that activates the squeak? There is definitely no squeak. Thank you.

Hello there from South Carolina. Roll over the picture and you will see the clear plastic sticking out of the BIRDS BACK. It has a Balloon with script (like the comics) telling you to "Remove for sound" This keeps the batteries fresh for you. IF it has been removed..battery can be dead. Charmin attacks the thing und GUTS it (removing the sound module) and places it in her trophy box. The module itself is self contained...not sure if battery is replaceable. SQUEEK is more like a mouse vs a bird sound.

We received the ourpets backyard bird. i got it for my cat for her birthday which is today, i pulled out the plastic tab & nothing happens.

sounds like this was defective; you may want to return it for a replacement.

squirrel seems to be the favorite, does not like the mouse, elephant, or bird style. raccoon and fox are both good. carries them around yowling every night.
