Zep Acidic Toilet Bowl Cleaner, 32 Ounce

I tried everything to get rid of the disgusting pink and brown ring and built-up gunk in our guest bathroom. Baking soda, vinegar, Dawn soap, various other toilet bowl cleaners, even a pumice stone. All helped a little, some more than others, but this was almost like magic. I poured it in, left it to do its job as instructed, and when I came back, just a quick LIGHT scrub with the toilet brush and it was sparkling like new. I was so amazed that I called my husband over to look. He was in happy shock too.

I'm ashamed to admit that my toilet was probably worse than any of the pics that others have posted of their toilets, but amazingly Zep got all the crud and hard water stains off!!! I did what the reviews said and emptied the toilet bowl of water and put the Zep in there and I let it soak a really long time...probably for a whole day. Occasionally I'd go in there and scrub around in my toilet and make sure there was still cleanser on the sides of the bowl, then let it sit for a few more hours. When I finally did the last scrubbing and rinsing, I really was amazed. I thought it was going to take muriatic acid to get it clean. I hate using harsh chemicals like Zep, but it was necessary in this case. I'm trying to make sure it stays clean this time. It does have a very powerful chemical smell and you need to have as much ventilation as possible when you're in the bathroom with it, but get out of there as soon as you can!! Don't inhale those fumes!

You need to empty the bowl and keep it on overnight to work best.

Wow. 1st time using it.We are a family of " if it's yellow let mellow; if it's brown flush it down. Save water" 🤷Well that philosophy leads to A TON of urinescale.So the husband has decided to help clean. He didn't know I bought this 7 weeks ago. He let the worst of our 3 toilets sit with bleach and sals suds all day. It barely made a difference. He was frustrated. So I fetched this bottle. Flushed a few extra times to get all the bleach out. Then squirted this in and walked away for 30 minutes. Went back and one swipe from the toilet brush scraped a huge chunk of urinescale off of the porcelain like that crusty piss was nothing but puddy. 😲I'm excited to see if it gets all of it off.😁

I should have taken before photos. Honestly i was skeptical as i have tried literally everything to clean the nasty old toilet we had upstairs. Lack of use made it worse. We have hard water, rust, and this toilet was awful from the day we bought the house. We planned on replacing it honestly. I decided to try one more time to get it clean and took a gamble on this stuff. Literal game changer. I will be screaming it’s praises from the roof top. Any little bit that didn’t come off i easily removed with a pumice stone. I applied it and let it sit for probably 45 min and it easily scrubbed off. Get this!

This is a very strong productYou have to use with gloves and covered all you body I use this product not just for the toilet but is really good on hard surfaces to take out calcium and when I used while cleaning some drops touched my skin and started to burn and I just used water to calm down it past the pain but I was so surprised that just one small drop could burn my skin is a very good product but have to protect your self

Make sure check bottles.Had one bottle slowly leaked and some went on a wooden stool and stripped paint off. It worked well on toilet that been months with staining and the thought was replacement .Not now!!!!!!
