I buy these because the design is great My cat loves scratching on it and it's a good price for three now the little pack of catnip that comes with it is not enough for all three but that's fine cuz I buy my catnip separately no assembly required and one thing I have found is when my cat is done on one side instead of throwing it away I just flip it over and they can use the other side so even though you're getting three it's almost like getting six because you can flip it over and use the bottom side when the top side gets wore out and that's what I like about it you definitely get more for your money with this

These cost less than half what I paid at a certain name brand pet supply store, and they're the exact same quality. When one side starts to look a little ratty, it can be flipped upside down and placed back in the tray for a longer lifespan. The value is incredible.My cat adores these scratch pads. I don't have to sprinkle catnip on it, he's interested in it just as it is. He leaves the carpet and furniture alone and scratches into this when he's bored, frustrated, or in a good mood. He likes to sit on it and sleep on it sometimes as well. I can't read his mind, but I believe it's good for his health to have these around.Bits of shredded cardboard fly around, but that's the nature of cardboard scratch pads. It's easy to vacuum up with the rest of the dust twice a week.

Love these for my cat. They last awhile and, while a little messy, it's pretty big pieces that are easy to pick up. I also like that it's double sided, so when one side wears out, I can flip it over for another period of use. There is no adhesion on them.

The cardboard "box" in which these scratch pads nestle is very flimsy and tends to sag on the sides rather quickly, so the pad itself is barely contained. And one the cats get going with their claw-sharpening, shards of shredded cardboard litter the floor around the pad.But hey, the main purpose of these pads is to encourage cats to use them to sharpen their claws, and they function admirably in that regard.They are also a rather uncommon size that allows them to fit almost perfectly on top of their little cat hidy-house, as pictured.

Must have if you’ve got cats! Yes, they make a bit of a mess when used excessively but my cats love them. Keeps them from scratching up anything of consequence. Great for the price. Just don’t vacuum up the pieces like I did! Took forever to clear my vacuum!
