The polyphenols in this olive oil are off the chart! If you sip olive oil for health benefits, you could hardly find a better one. It doesn't taste very good, and I for one would not use it in a salad of for other food or cooking-elated purposes. I think it is a daily sipper for overall health; something like a vitamin supplement. Only problem is that it is very expensive and you could very easily go through the small bottle in about two weeks-- maybe three. Each individual has to decide on the cost-benefit analysis. I have gone over to other Atlas Moroccan olive oils for the price relief. Still-- highly recommended.

Although it's a bit pricey, you can taste the quality. Has sort of a peppery flavor. Excellent nutritional and anti oxidant properties. I am a regular subscriber and take a tablespoon a day.

Consistent good quality, the taste is like a liquid olive

The first couple of bottles that I purchased had a distinct peppery taste to them with a slight bite as I swallowed it. The bottle I just started using from this order had no distinct flavor as the first two. The harvest date on this bottle is listed as 02/2025 which wasn't that many months ago. What would be the cause for the difference in flavor between the first two bottles and this one?

I was excited to try this olive oil as it touted having such high polyphenols and had pretty good reviews. Honestly, I am surprised it has reviews getting it up over four stars. Looking closer at the information it never actually tells you how high the polyphenol count is or what exactly what number they’re comparing it off of? It is a very small bottle. But the primary reason for one star is the taste. It does not taste like olive oil in any manner, honestly, it taste more like you are drinking a chemical then olive oil. It taste as though something has gone rancid. I did take it multiple times to see if it was just the initial shock of trying it but no! It is just awful tasting. So I started searching for some other options to see if I could find an olive oil that was rich and polyphenols that tasted better. My suggestion is there are some olive oil’s you can still find made in Italy like Papa Vince olive oil that has a higher concentration of polyphenols to get those added health benefits, but is pleasant good tasting olive oil. Anyways, I hope this helps somebody.

Taste is not so bad you want to barf and goes down smoothly without an oily after taste

Great product. I’ve been a customer for almost 2yrs now.To ensure a high polyphenol product it should come from a producer that is GMO free & Organic but more importantly grows in an area with gravelly soil. It’s a true statement that grapes grown for wine production & olive oil consumed for health reasons, the plant needs to struggle to survive. Over watering & over fertilization produces a subpar product. To produce high polyphenol levels in an EVOO, the trees must struggle mightily & this product delivers a high quality oil great for daily consumption of 1 or more shots per day. I only wish I could get a larger bottle.
