A really intersting book.
I start searching for a good book to teach security. After read this, I can say it is "the one" for rapid courses. I suggest this book instead of Art and Science, but for a long term relationship with security I recommend the Computer Security: Art and Science from same author.

Great Introductory Book
This book was required for a class that for Cyber Security. The physical book has many methodologies for beginners to get introduced into the Cyber-security Realm. If you want speed, go get the PDF. Otherwise, the physical actual book is just as good.

A good general introduction to security
A good general introduction to security. As it is a general introduction the material is relatively current. For specifics (new threats, etc.) it is beginning to show its age.

A decent book
I bought the book because this is a text book for one of my courses (Computer Security). Although the book Computer Security: Art and Science is a much thorough one, but this one is better, if u are starting to learn about Computer Security.Note :- This book is not for those(non computer scientists) who wants to implement Security at their home.
