First time stretching a canvas.This made it very easy

Perfect to make custom frame for ugly medicine cabinet.I love my medicine cabinet but hated how it looked. Used these to make perfect fit for custom frame.Magnets make this practical so everything can be cleaned.

I bought a set of 4 sides and one brace. I assembled them. First the center brace is about 1/4 inch short and it's not slotted to attach to the sides. The only way I see to attach it is to staple it to the sides. The entire frame is warped so one corner stands up about half an inch from the wall. I'm very disappointed with the product.I took them apart and examined them. They are warped across the width of 3 of the bars. These are complete junk. Do not buy.

The wood used in these stretchers is reasonably good clear pine with the grain oriented well for the purpose. I admire the design of the joint, and the 45 degree mitre cuts were accurate. Once assembled, the stretchers were easily squared.The negative is that the tenons were not milled correctly. Of the eight tenons, six were too thick and needed to be adjusted. I expected the tenons to be a little proud to ensure a tight fit. These tenons were so thick that pressing the frame together would have spilt the wood. I spent an hour with a shoulder plane, chiseels and scrapers reducing the thickness on the tenons. Likely, this is a batch problem, and someone had the cutting knives on the milling machine set incorrectly in the batch I received. If the tenons had been correctly cut, I would have given this product five stars. I hope that someone at the manufacturer sees this post and adds a quality control step.

I am very pleased with the ease of putting together the frames. The fit was perfect. However, I didn’t receive all of the BRACE pieces for the frames I ordered. There were enough for only one picture frame and I ordered 2 sets of 4 pieces each. Would you please send a set of the BRACE pieces so I can complete the projects. Thank you.

The corner joins are not well cut and some do not fit well. Hand to shave them a bit to get them to work.

Purchased two sizes to make a 11x14 frame. Pieces fit together easily. Tight, square corners.
