Having purchased a new Brother machine recently I found that the Organ and Schmitt needles were particularly highly recommended as being best for the machine as well as being economical. Not hav8n* used a machine for some years decided to buy a variety for different projects. They are particularly recommended for their high performance. Only having purchased recently I am unable to quantify their performance as yet but will update at a later date.

Organ needles are the best! My heavy duty sewing mashine is very fussy if it comes to needles, so it took me a while to find the right brand for it. Organ needles turned out to do the trick! They can go forever! They are sharp and strong, not easy to bend or break. Since I discovered them, I don't go for anything else!
