It was a little complicated, but once you figure out how it's assembled, it didn't take long to install. Great product, Love it

One of the best products I have purchased in a long time. Replaced original console lid on my 2011 Chevy Silverado. The fit and color are awesome. The only thing missing were instructions. It wasn't too difficult to figure out. This was my first time trying this and the outcome even surprised me. I will be buying another right away for another truck I own.

The console in my truck on the drivers side had leather that was cracking and unappealing to the eye. After getting some body work the truck done, I began looking to improve the interior too. The console needed to be replaced and this product fit the bill. I like the look and price was reasonable. You Tube video showed me the way to remove cover and hinge screws. ISSUE - the hinge holes on the replacement console cover were not drilled out to accept the screws from the truck. So, while trying to install the first time, the 2 small pegs on the hinge plate broke off. Once I realized the issue, I took a hinge screw and piloted the 4 holes and the hinge mounted easily. (No screws come with the replacement for the hinge, so you’ll need to keep those as you swap out lids.) Overall, like the look, feel, and cost. I just installed it, so I really can’t rate durability honestly. I believe those pegs don’t really do much, but I hate breaking off parts unnecessarily. Had the screw holes been pre-drilled making installation that much easier - I would have given higher ratings for ease of installation and overall.

Super happy with this product. Bought a 2007 Chevy Tahoe that was used a few weeks ago. The center console was looking pretty rough, found this on Amazon. I was not the one that installed it however that being said, the advice I was given: keep the 4 screws to the hinge from the old console, YouTube video online with directions, you will need a screw gun for reinstallation. Color match was perfect to the stock beige that was in the vehicle

This was a very good replacement that was fairly easy to install. There were some alignment issues with the screws, and they can be rectified by using the original bottom plate.

I have received but not yet installed. It looks great!

The box contains no instructions. Consult You Tube. To install the cover you must first remove the plastic cover from the underside of the console top to allow access to the four mounting screw locations. Probably best to just break of the two plastic alignment pins before you start, as they will most likely break while you are trying to install the cover onto the hinge if you don't. Life will be easier if you screw one of the oem attaching screws in all four holes before you try to attach the cover to the hinge. The only thing I really did not like was that there is not discernible padding under the console top covering. So if you drive with your elbow resting on the center console be fore warned. The cover color was a perfect match. It opens and closes as the original and appears to be constructed in the same manner.
