40" Tow Behind Grass Dethatcher, Removes Thatch,Tine Tow Dethatcher

Well priced. Not so easy to assemble. Directions and pictures are not well explained or shown

Hooked it up to my John Deere and went to work on my yard. Does a fantastic job.

Could not use as intended due to missing axle bracket.

What to say? It was cheaper than the name brand model. Came with just enough bolts, no extras. I put it together as quick as I could for a Father's Day present for my dad, and have raked- dethatched- scarrified- tilled? Pieces of my dad's property for him and for different purposes for a few weeks now.It does a fair job of scuffing thick Bermuda clumps, ripping clover runs out of broadleaf grasses, can scratch at rocky red mud for initial seeding. There isn't great precision or depth control. Don't think that by overweighting the shelf you're going to go deeper. It just scratches and combs.For quality. No higher than four stars. Everything is good and painted, I've left it outside and nothing appears oxidized. A few tension bearing stamped pieces are showing some warpage, but that's expected. The most inconvenient but expected thing is QOL bolts and fasteners. Nearly every bolt on this thing has backed out twice. I have lost a few. Whoops. But also dang. Loctite could solve everything, yep. But I don't have all day to go back and do that. This unfortunate mess will keep going by whatever means I can finagle. Shucks.Take that extra time and use a thread locking adhesive during assembly.If you are using a golf cart this is a good test of your torque and battery strength.

On a scale of 1 to 10 with the directions that were left with this product, I would say would be an eight by yourself maybe somebody helping you a six or seven horrible worst thing I've ever put together

Bolts and accessories were well organized. However, I can see a few places that should of had Kevlar bolts. Lock washers on the lift arm can be way tight or loose enough to be of used. Loose bolts in these locations will loosen and fall off.

Takes a little time to put together but it works good. Not sure on durability since I've used it once. Good price mine came in a little scratched not sure if it was used or not.
