Delighted with this gadget. After buying a conventional DAB car stereo and taking to an auto electrician to be fitted. I was told it would not fit an old Fiesta with separate amp, radio and CD player, also no aux input socket or usb port. Apparently no aftermarket car stereo will fit my model of Fiesta without making a mess of the dashboard. (take note old Fiesta owners). I went home very disappointed. When browsing on Amazon that evening I stumbled across DAB car radio adapters. The SAVORI seemed to have the best reviews. I had my doubts at first that it would actually work. How wrong I was. Just plug it into the cigarette lighter socket. Find an unused frequency on your FM car radio. Tune in your favourite stations and you have nice clear DAB radio. I am also able to use my I-pod with blue tooth so no messy wires. There is also a USB port which is useful for charging phones, I pods, or whatever. It is much smaller that I expected. (not that, that is a problem). I am now able to tune into all my favourite DAB stations (except one) for some unknown reason reception on Absolute Classic Rock is very poor. Although Absolute radio and Absolute 80s and Absolute 90s are all fine. The sound quality is superb. My only criticism is the sticky things that attach the Ariel to the windscreen would not stick and there are not enough of them. Not a big problem as I just used Gorilla tape which done the job no problems. Despite this minor issue I will still give this product five stars as I am chuffed with this purchase. If you own an oldish car with no DAB radio I would defiantly recommend this SAVORI. It is also about half the price of a conventional DAB car stereo and it is very easy to fit yourself. Just an update. I did eventually manage to get Absolute Classic rock, I just needed to tune it in a second time.

Liked this 5 in1 dab radio adapter, it was easy to fit with the option of using two mounts either having it on the windscreen or an air vent, or just sticking it to a flat part of the dashboard. Followed in instructions and set it up to be a fm transmitter not having an aux port on my car radio. This step is missed from the instructions provided. You just have to press the tx button then rotate the m button to the desired frequency that is free from any other stations transmitting on. You then tune your radio into the same frequency and it works. Sanded the paintwork from the underside of my car roof to connect the magnetic aerial. Only 17 dab stations were found so then I disconnected the aerial and did a scan and still 17 Dab stations were found. The aerial must have been faulty on the one I received so it was returned. My Dab portable radio picks up 62 stations because the Dab transmitter is less than 5 miles away. Didn't test this device with the engine running so don't know if the engine interferes with the signal transmission.

I dislike the amount of extra wire but the wee clips help, some times when I'm just sitting i the car at traffic lights the music will just fade out like bad reception and come back randomly it's not a big issue but just odd when everything's connected up correctly although I don't have an aux input on my car maby this is the reason, otherwise I'm very happy.

Given it 4 stars because there's no on/off power switch,.......on my car the power to cigarette lighter doesn't switch off with the ignition,......so if I leave this plugged in with two cameras and a sat-nav connected it could drain my battery if left for any length of time plugged in,......the only thing I have to do is remember to unplug when I park up overnight......

works well. DAB, bluetooth music streaming and phone call integration all in one. DAB signal seems good and haven't noticed any drop out with it yet. Only slight grumble is that the flexible arm is very short 3-4 inches long which means it has to be located very close to the lighter socket.

I struggled to set it up due to lack of knowledge and got a friend to do it for me. Once fitted it works great! Managed to get good stations, however I live in a village so it can be a bit crackaly at times but once out of the villages it works great.

Easy to install, works every time. Only criticism is for taking calls in the car- very hard for people to understand you. Need microphone. Good value for money though.. I can play my music.

Very easy to set up and works a treat. I have it connected via the aux Input but can also connect via fm transmitter.Dab reception with the decent quality Ariel that's also included is very good. Bluetooth hands-free is also very good. Also plays music from a micro sd card although not found a way to select folders yet. The dab player comes with a windscreen mount as well as a vent mount. Which are both magnetic so easy to remove the player if needed. All in all its a very good purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.
