I live in arizona and it is hot. i'm wondering how thisnwould hold up in extreme heat?

I used to live in Arizona in the 80's. This will hold up in any weather, cold or hot. It is metal with a plastic coating. I used it when I had a visor that did not work and used it for a long time until I got rid of the car. Worked great for me.

Can this push the visor forward too?

Not sure what you mean. But the way it's made, it holds the visor in place. You have to see it to understand. I am very happy with mine. I had to get one for the other side.

What’s this viso riser size?

the VISORiser holds your cars visa in place. At some point the visor in your car may lose it's ability to stay in place and flops down. Normally you can find a kit to replace the mechanism that holds the visor in position. I have a 2008 Volvo XC90 and I could not find the kit anywhere. I purchased the VISORiser to hold my visor in place so it's not hanging down and blocking my view of the road. It does a very good job, you just slip it in behind the visor to install it, takes a few seconds. Very happy with it.
