Easy to install and set up.
Came with basic satellite signal strength meter. My husband, who had never put up a satellite dish before managed to assemble and install the dish etc. our old dish was rusting and reception a bit hit and miss in the end. We had access to our extension flat roof so my husband climbed up and installed the dish higher up and reception on Freesat is perfect on all channels even during a storm. We live near the sea in the southeast of England. My husband well pleased with this kit and pleased it all worked first time. Very good reception but it is important to get the direction of the satellite transmitting. The included meter will help. We were lucky as my husband took the direction from old dish.No cons that I can see but maybe a better meter but not important. My husband reckon one could not do any fine tuning with it. But regardless good value for money.

A good quality dish
I bought this kit rather than one of the cheaper ones because it gives the option of white cable (to match my rendered walls) and includes the plastic plate to cover the cable entry on the outside of the wall. A few minor niggles with it were as follows: the cable was only 4.6 metres rather than the full 5 metres, the inside wall grommet was for much bigger twin cable than the cable supplied and there were no rubber boots for weatherproofing the F connectors on the LNB. That being said, I found it easy to assemble and fix to the wall, with the hardest bit being screwing in the 4 Crimptite screws that hold the mesh reflector to the bracket. I managed to level it and point it in the direction for the Freesat satellites using info from the dishpointer website and using the compass in my phone. This gave a signal reading on the TV set of 13%. From there, it only needed a little adjustment up and down and side to side to get it to a solid 100%. Fortunately, I could see the strength bar on the TV screen through the window so I never connected the signal strength meter. Other things I had to buy were a 12x350mm masonry drill to go through the cavity wall and some grab sealant to fix the plastic plate to the wall. All in all a very successful DIY fit, saving most of the £200 I had been quoted by a local installer.

Great value!
I purchased this kit over a year ago in preparation for installation to my new home after relocating. The box sat in the shed until I was ready to install so it was refreshing to discover all the parts were present and correct on the day of installation. In fact I realise there were more than enough parts to complete the install. The company include a few extra bits (cable connectors & plugs) just in case you need it. I was cable to install this myself after a quick run through on a Youtube video ( I find most written instructions challenging). Lol

I had to call in an aerial installer!
The bad first, due to the satellite finder not working while everything else did , the result was the exercise cost me £85 extra. Everything in preparation was done by the book, I even found a couple of most helpful videos on the subject of erecting a Sky Freesat dish and linking it to a Humax Freesat box. As I had just purchased both from Amazon I was all set to go. Once everything was in place, I perplexed as to why I was totally unable to get even the faintest signal, also I had no way of knowing where the fault lay. So I was forced to call in the professionals. A very nice guy came the next day, charged £85 only to discover the only problem was the supplied signal finder. He was sorry about it and even declared that I had done a good job and all should have been ok. He used his signal £2000 analyser with built in t.v and with very little adjustment was able to access all available channels in my area on both 100% strength & quality. Had the damned satellite finder worked, I would have had the satisfaction of doing the job myself and saving myself disapproval from my wife at the need to incur the extra expense. Apart from that, the product itself is very good, even got the thumbs up from the Pro with the comment that apart from the dodgy faulty instrument it was a nice bit of kit.
