OXO Good Grips Lazy Susan Turntable, 16-Inch,White

I don't know how many things everyone else has under their sink, like a bottle of Dawn dish soap, dishwasher rinse agent , a bottle of this, and a bottle of that, etc, etc, etc.And how about the laundry room ? The shelf above my washer and dryer has a bottle of Windex, Pledge, Tide Laundry Soap, fabric softeners and stain remover etc, etc, etc.Both of these areas never looked organized, but now they both look absolutely beautiful and not cluttered thanks to the OXO 16 inch Turntable.I actually purchase two other turntables with high reviews that I was never pleased with before I finally purchased this Oxo brand. One was an 18 inch and the other was smaller. I can honestly now state that the OXO 16 inch turntable is by far the very best and superior turntable that you can purchase to date.It is 16 inch diameter on the outside, but only has a 14 inches usable diameter surface area on the inside were you place things. The unit is super strong and well made and can hold tons of weight and still revolve very silently and smoothly. I have to have at least 20lbs of weight on it right now, and room for another 3 large bottles containing of liquids in bottles totaling 10lbs.Like all turntables it is two pieces joined together with a revolving sleeve mechanism. The bottom piece is white the top pieces has a black rim but the insides where you place things is white and is pebbled with tiny plastic bumps to help prevent things from sliding when you turn the table, and it works great. This non smooth surface stops the bottles from sliding when the turntable is revolved or stopped from revolving. I only turn it at a normal speed or " slowly ", so I don't think that sliding of objects is any concern for myself on this or any turntable.Like all OXO product's, this turntable looks super great but was well thought out and designed perfectly for what it was going to be used for. A functional circular storage area that revolves to give quick access to any item placed within that circumference.Another 10 out of 10 OXO product. Am I surprised ? " Absolutely Not ".I recommend this product 100% to Everyone !I hope my review was helpful.

We recently purchased several 16” turntables for our kitchen pantry. We liked them so much we perched four more. They are sturdy and rotate smoothly. They hold a lot and make it so easy to find what you’re looking for. They also have a small lip/edge that keeps items from falling off. They are great value for the money.

Just received this and had to write a review. I was recovering from surgery and needed lots of things close by on a side table. This completely fit the bill. I like that it's simple in design, has a low profile/low sides which I love, and at 16" was the perfect size. it's heavy enough so it won't slide, works seamlessly and is made well. Also the price is great. Will find other uses over time, I'm sure.

It's easy to understand why, when I walk into a retail store that sells kitchen items, the shelves are overflowing with Oxo merchandise. This company consistently makes products that are well made, practical, innovative and easy to use. I needed turntables to organize my large but shallow kitchen pantry. I have used turntables in my pantries for years because they allow for efficient use of storage space. My pantry is 15 inches deep. I had numerous turntables in use, but none of them were larger than 10 inches. I had to reorganize my pantry because it had too many items that were difficult to retrieve, many a bit too large to be on a 10 inch turntable. I looked at some retail stores and could not find any that had turntables in the 15 inch range that were decent quality. I found these on Amazon and ordered two. When they arrived, I was so impressed with them! They are just a tad larger than my 15 inch depth but not an issue at all. They are sturdy and attractive with a lip around the edges that prevents items from falling off. I ordered 4 more and now have a wonderfully organized pantry. I will buy some more of these when I can find another cabinet where I can put them to use. Thanks Oxo!!

I bought this turntable for a much different purpose than most. I needed it for an invention of mine. I'm an artist, so I am using the glass tray/turntable from an old microwave that broke. I am using the tray for a glass palett because it is very large (close to 16 inches)and it is expensive to buy one this size. A palett is the surface and tool an artist uses to place their paint colors on and mix them. Since my glass is so big and circular, I put all my colors around the edges and use the center space for mixing. I thought what if I put the glass tray on a turntable (lazy susan)...that would make it much easier and more convenient to use in my studio. It can sit right next to me on my table and my colors will be right within easy reach. I was sure that the OXO turntable was also 16 inches. Since my tray was a few millimeters smaller, I thought it would fit right in the OXO turntable because it is a little hollowed out and not a completely flat turntable. Unfortunately, when I measured it, it is actually 15 inches. Not 16. My glass palett just sits on top of the black rubberized plastic rim. It won't fit inside the shallow space. But that's ok, because the rubber rim keeps the glass from sliding around. It doesn't slide at all. This was why I only gave it 4 stars because it was not the size as mentioned. It is only 15 inches. I wish it was a little bigger...then my tray would fit in it. However maybe this is better because it might be hard to take the tray out when I need to clean it? I'm not returning it. It is inexpensive, and turns very smoothly. Very nicely made quality. Seems very strong and durable. It has rubber feet on the bottom so it never shifts around on my table, even though my glass tray is quite heavy and thick. For an inexpensive lazy susan it couldn't be better! I recommend it.
