I'd love to know how to use these - so I just wanted to suggest that some instructions are included with the product. I haven't used it yet, but it arrived quickly and looks fine!

I cut these cubes in quarters and they're working out perfectly in my hydroponic setup -even using different baskets meant for peat cones. So far I've grown butterfly peas, peppers, tomatoes, cosmos and rat tail radishes. All plants have flourished and have transplanted easily into my garden. I'm very pleased with this product!

I will be the first to admit that I didn't fully pay attention to the product description when ordering these. I didn't realize that you had to soak them in an acidic solution to prepare them for planting. So, it's something different with a slight learning curve. I'm glad that I learned that before I began starting seeds in them because these cubes don't come with any sort of guidance or instruction. That being said, I love them! I find them much easier to use than the typical plugs I've been using in my hydroponics, and I fully believe that the plants prefer them as well. I have used the full squares in the provided net pots, but sometimes that can be a bit of overkill for some plants. So, I also cut them up to fit into my regular sized hydroponic plugs. They're extremely versatile and fun to use. This year is the first that I've played around with hydroponics, and I was excited to learn that these rockwool cubes were an option. I'll definitely be ordering more.
