deepened my love for Mary
With the video for each lesson, this Bible Study on Mary, the mother of God is enlightening, refreshing and inspiring. Mary has always been my role model, but after going through this in-depth study, I know more about her and have more reasons to follow her as she points me to Jesus

Enlightening Study
I have enjoyed reading all of Father Mitch’s books thus far, and this one was no different. Father Mitch is an apologist, and a lover of the Word. I have learned so much about what and why my Roman Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ believe. I highly recommend Father Mitch and his video/audio works on EWTN. I look forward to his Bible studies and exposition on current issues each week.

Definitely rooted in Scripture
For one that has read much on Mary, this may seem easy, considering Fr. Patchwa basically mentions verses where Mary is mentioned (even if only indirectly). Starting with Genesis to the Annunciation, to the visitation, the birth of Christ and the other Joyful Mysteries, onto Mary's involvement in Christ's ministry and Passion. Finally her praying for the early Church, comparing Mary being overshadowed with the Holy Spirit and The coming of the Holy Spirit in Pentecost, and her involvement with the early Church. Lastly is the subject of intercession, whether through Mary or one of the other saints (or even us praying for one another). Pretty through for a basic scripture study based on Mary.

Outstanding!
This book (like all of Fr. Mitch's books) is stuffed full of information and Bible verses to study from. I highly recommend it and look forward to purchasing more books by this author.

Four Stars
It was a good book but not what I anticipated. More like a workbook

Wonderful clear study; Explains how and Why Catholic's understand Mary
Wonderful study. We used it in a group study. It is so easily understood and very concise. Fr Pacwa does a wonderful job of explaining the cultural background, the ancient meaning of the Aramaic, Greek and Hebrew words used. My only complaint would be the title. "A Bible study for Catholics" limits this wonderful book to a Catholic audience. It deserves to be read by all who value the Bible
