FastTrack is expensive, but well worth the investment
We like these products to much, we now have an entire FastTrack system in our 3-car garage. The best feature is that you can very easily change things around (not the tracks, but all of the hanging pieces). The uprights are an expensive way to hang shelves, but they are strong and they are not permanent, so you can adjust the location of your shelving. You can't beat the convenience - the uprights themselves require no assembly or installation. You simply hang them from a FastTrack track. You will also need to buy a track, brackets, and wire shelving, though, and this can add up very quickly. The only store in our area that has a decent stock of FastTrack pieces is WalMart, but they have nowhere near the number of options as Amazon. Lowes and the Home Depot offer only a handful of the FastTrack hooks and the track. One caveat about the uprights: if your garage is unfinished (as ours is), you will need to hang the uprights on the studs, or they will not be stable. Of course, if you have sheetrocked walls, this will not be an issue. Bottom line - the uprights are a well made product that can help you organize your garage almost overnight. We did!

A good versatile garage organization system. A bit pricey but easy to install and looks great!
The whole FastTrack system is great! I use this in my garage to add a lot of storage options. It is easy to install. You will need a drill with bits, a level, a stud finder and some common sense. Plan your layout before trying to install to get the most out of this system. There are different types of shelves, but I went with the wire ones since these will not really collect any dust.First install yours actual FastTrack rails horizontally on the wall. Use a level and a stud finder. Drill pilot holes with a slightly smaller bit than the screws that come with the rails. Next install your upright posts by clipping them onto the rails. I laid out the shelves before I then screwed the uprights. Make sure to try to install the uprights onto studs if you are going to have a lot of weight on your shelves. Next clip on your shelf brackets and lay the shelves on top, making sure to lock the slide locks on the wire shelves. My shelves have the uprights screwed into studs and I have a decent amount of weight on them and have no problems.I love the wire shelves because I hang coats on clothes on hangers under them.Overall this system is pricey, and some one with some skills can easily make shelving, but for those without skills and the time these are a great way to organize your garage. Besides shelves you can also hang attachments and hooks and holders for all kinds of tools and stuff. This system is very versatile and looks great!

I used these many years ago
when I put up the Fast Track system in my garage. I left almost all of that system with the house I sold. That absolutely killed me to do that because the Fast Track is hard to beat for organizing your garage. While I couldn't bring all of the system with me, I was able to bring two of the bars and some of the hanger accessories for my one car garage.. That's why I bought these anchors. If you plan on hanging stuff on the system, you need to use these where there is no stud. Maybe 2-3 per bar? They work really well. I never, ever had a bar come off a wall and my two car garage was full of them.Highly recommend these and not for just the Fast Track, but for anywhere you need good wall anchors.

Good rails but be sure four will meet all your needs
Excellent rails at a good price. They're a grey metal that works well with Ikea, Rubbermaid or most other brackets that fit into two side-by-side holes. If you do buy rails, be sure to check how far the different rails stand out from the wall. These are comparable to Ikea rails and stand out over 3/4". I had some others that didn't come out as far and so while the hole spacing was the same, the different depth became a problem. It's best to stick with one brand of rails if possible. Two complaints:1. You can only buy four at a time. I needed nine rails, so I had to order four, wait for delivery, order four more, and so on. It doesn't make much sense that they don't want to sell me enough for my whole project.2. Each rail came in a separate 6' box that was actually large enough to hold all four. Seriously. I'll bet cardboard manufacturers love these guys!

Goes in the garage or pantry! Extra deep at 16inches
Great quality. That's what one should look for first in something like this. Who want's their belongings falling off broken, sagging shelves? The shelf is wire frame and very sturdy once you add in the support brackets of course. It is also very attractive in satin nickel color. I wanted to stray away from the mundane white colors the other brand offers. The Fast-Track system in general is easy to install, then these wire shelves just pop right in and are even held into place via the brackets. These particular shelves are 16" deep compared to the typical 12", and are 4 ft wide. That allows for storage of more stuff!Tip- You can also purchase clear mats to cover the wire if you want a smooth flat surface for your belongings though most items will sit on the wire just fine, except for tiny things.

Great product...great instructions
I’ve seen some really bad reviews so had reservations about purchasing it. But after a botched attempt at hanging my fast track with hardware the local store recommended, I decided to go online looking for this kit. It worked like a charm...I followed the directions of making pilot holes...1/8” for the ones going into studs, 3/8” for the anchors spaced in between. It was installed very easily and the anchors and screws look like it is sufficiently holding the rail in. I feel confident that the rail isn’t going anywhere....incidentally, I had previous fast track rails installed by a handyman for me, and one of the rails has started coming off the wall...now that I can see how he hung it up with the rail hanging out of the wall, I can see that he used only three anchors and no studs....not only did he not follow the recommendations for putting it in studs, he only used three holes to support the rail...I can see why it is coming down compared to following Rubbermaid’s recommendation for install. Definitely follow the instructions, use the studs AND anchors!

Love the Rubbermaid Closet Organizer, Wish they had not discontinued the product.
Had some extra wire shelves, just needed the upright wall brackets to get them to work. Very good system. Easy to install and fast to recreate a closet to add more space.

This is NOT CONFIGURATIONS
If you read further in the description, you will notice that although the title says "Configurations" it is actually FASTRACK. I needed another upright to extend my configurations closet and this is the only one available to purchase separately. I finally ordered a full 3 - 6 foot closet just to get the extra upright. I will use the leftovers in another space. Boo!
