After having a fiber line installed directly into my office, I realized weeks later that I needed to move my network drop to a more central location in the house. This meant I needed a longer cable, as the original one provided just wasn’t cutting it. Enter this fiber optic cable—it was exactly what I needed! The setup was a breeze. I connected the cable directly into the ONT and the router with zero issues, and the internet worked perfectly without any hiccups. It’s clear that this cable is high-quality and built for reliability. One big bonus is that it’s relatively affordable compared to similar fiber cables I looked at. The inclusion of a free SC-APC coupler was also a nice touch, making it even more versatile in case you need to extend or join existing cables. I honestly don’t have any complaints about the product itself—it worked flawlessly and met my needs completely. If you’re looking to upgrade or extend your fiber optic connection, this is a fantastic choice. Pros: - Affordable price compared to other fiber cables - Includes a free SC-APC coupler for added flexibility Cons: - None!

Did not lose speed and it was easy to run through the house, hooked right up to AT&T connection and modem

Gerbil escaped tank. The first thing it did was chew the fiber optic cable in half. Got a notification while fishing, didn’t think anything of it until we got home. NO INTERNET! Gibby (gerbil’s name) was on the floor looking all ratty and mischievous and ran under the bed. Went to Wally World they didn’t have them, online only. Went to the pc store and att they didn’t have any. Att csr tried to trick us with coming out for $150, but it’s just “click and click” finally after begging they said cord was free. “🤬” The Amazon showed up 5 minutes before FedEx did so now we’ve got two cord. Works great!

While using Bangun armored fiber cables in my home may seem overkill, I like them due to their robust build and for this single cable construction (vs 2 attached side by side). The first fiber cables I used were the typical yellow plastic 2 fibers side by side construction. The issue I have with those cables is that they harden over time, and they aren't malleable as a single cable construction (sorry I don't know how to properly describe single vs two cable construction). The reason I purchased this cable was to relocate the ONT from my garage to the media room where the AT&T gateway (BGW210) is. I wanted to do this to get the ONT out of the hot garage and prepare for a future upgrade to the all in one BGW320. The time came when my 10 year old BGW210 needed to be replaced and having already passed SC/APC fiber all the way up to the gateway, the AT&T easily replaced my ONT & BGW210 with a BGW320. The only glitch was that I had assumed the connectors were clean and did not clean them myself with the appropriate tool (not cloth or your hands!). Once the tech cleaned the connectors, it passed his tests. I have already replaced most of my fiber drops with Bangun cables, and will slowly replace them all as the desire to work in the attic returns!
