Make sure to check factory radio clip/bolt points first
The kit was perfect for my 96 k1500 with the clip on sides and although it said it was a direct replacement for my 98 Chevy blazer it was not due to my blazer having the bolts on the top corners of the radio which wasn't any issue cause I just unbolted the clip brackets and have it setting in my dash for now till my new one comes in. I had to order a new kit for my blazer which didn't bother me but other then that it's a amazing direct fit piece for a 96 k1500 Silverado. Came already installed and also has all the wiring you need to hook up to the new stereo. First picture is my truck and the second is it in my blazer (basically just sitting there for now)

Fit an worked perfectly
Fast shipping, bracket fits like OEM didn’t have to massage it in just slide right into place, the face plate is the same color as bezel as well. The wiring kit is perfect easy to install, just match the color wires.. no complaints. Used it on my single din touch screen stereo I purchased on my 96 c1500 SL.

No Sound until blue power antenna line was connected
This is a great stereo kit, but I don’t have a power antenna so I did not connect the blue power antenna line and ended up with no sound output on my 2002 Escalade. I watched countless YouTube videos on how to bypass the vehicles amplifier and eventually realized the blue wire labeled “power antenna” was actually the amp remote line that is required for sound output. Once I connected it up all was well. I strongly suggest this wire get relabeled to “Amplifier Remote” because it caused me great frustration until I figured it out…
