my child loves these
At first I questioned the quality, but as I sat and played with my son I began to understand why they are a bit thinner. These aren't meant to be adult tight. The pieces are thin so they can bend and we are able to create more this way. I originally tried to think of REAL tools and fasteners to make something similar but this truly is an amazing option for kids who love to build and create. This is something I bought for my 5 year old, my 9 year old was playing, and I myself even enjoyed. Dad's could easily sit and tinker and bond over building with children as well. There is no doubt in my mind we will be building prototypes for school projects with these. They are fantastic. They also include enough pieces for multiple builds at a time which for my household is great, we like to see how many we can build at a time.

Hours of fun with warning!
The instruction book didn’t work for airplane diagram “A” on the tail piece. Had to modify. My 4 year old son who is very inclined in engineering blocks and the like couldn’t follow the book without help. I helped with a lot of the construction of the plane. BUT free play options are ENDLESS. LOTS of pieces = blessing and probably curse. The nuts and bolts are small- avg marble size/smaller than a dime in diameter. So I wouldn’t recommend for under 4 or a 4 that likes to mouth toys. The plastic pieces are thin but similar to original LEGO quality- they won’t break as easily as a McDonald toy but not as sturdy as a mega block. For $26 a clear storage box would have been nice VS a black paper/fabric drawstring sac. I will get him a tackle box or caboodle with dividers. Our older 6’s and 8yo love it too.

Definitely worth it to buy!
Great building toy that will last many years.Lots of pieces which is great so you are only limited by your imagination.Comes with a few tools: drill, screwdriver, and wrench. The manual has 10 different models you can build. Instructions are decent, but could be improved to show a few more steps and different angles.Everything is good quality. My son is a bit young to do this on his own but he can use the drill and screwdriver so we have fun building the robots together. I put the pieces together and he drills the screws. Sometimes he just combines parts or takes apart things I put together. It's still a great way for him to work on his coordination and motor skills.* I was given this toy to test and provide my honest review.

If you like building ikea furniture, here's a toy a for you!
Set seems well made but the instruction booklet which is critical to the toys enjoyment is very poor. The instructions are very difficult for a child and even challenging for an adult to follow. Only one page is given for each thing they suggest you build. Photos are small and contain 5-10 steps for each photo. You can only see it from one angle making it difficult to tell which of the 17 different parts to use (some of which are very similar). It's like assembling a piece of Ikea furniture, which most sane people do not enjoy. So no., I don't recommend it.

Good hands on toy for hot, rainy, quarantine days
Bought as a random surprise during quarantine. They seem sturdy for a good price. The drill is the real winner here- he loves it. Also sometimes the bolts don’t get tight enough and it’s hard to build since things don’t stay in place but that’s just sort of a toy set and doesn’t affect my rating!

Awesome hands on toy
My 6 year old loves toys where he can create things. This was a hit with him because it has a lot of building options. He really liked the drill which is perfect for little hands. Some of the projects he needed help with but for the most part he was able to do most of them alone with little to no help. I like the colorful pieces as well. This would be a great gift for birthday or holidays.

Lots of pieces to make different things
It isn't as easy as it looks. I bought this thinking it'd be a nice toy to play with my daughter. It actually requires some planning. For instance, we were building the warrior machine and it is easier to build legs and arms separately before putting them together with the body. Also I noticed the diagram showed different color screw than the red ones we got. We were able to figure it out but it was kind of confusing at first glance. Also all parts are neatly packaged in plastic but once you open them, it'd be a pain trying to sort them without a separate container to separate the parts. The experience of building is well worth the money. It's something you can have fun while playing with your kids. The satisfaction of being able to share the fun with your loved one is priceless.

Kept them busy!
This is my first time to purchase this building set. I wasn’t too sure what the quality would be, or if my grandkids would be interested In It. Well, it finally arrived, and I can’t say enough about it. The quality is awesome and sturdy for little hands. My grandkids, eight years old and under, were intrigued, and it got them busy for several hours. They were also very proud of their accomplishments! I love how they can make several toys at one time, and not run out of parts. That makes it a winner for me!
