I’ve always loved my TravelPro suitcase. It lasted me 15 years, which was a real testament to the quality of the product. When it finally broke, I was looking for a suitable replacement. As a frequent traveler, a new suitcase is a big purchase, so I spent a lot of time reading reviews. At the top of all the big lists (Wire Cutter, etc.) was the Away Carry On suitcase. Based on what I read, I decided to give this case a try. So far, I’ve taken it on two short trips and I’m preparing to take it overseas.I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. The wheels are strong, durable, and glide easily over any type of a surface. The case itself is lightweight, and that really matters when you're packing for airplane travel. I’m also amazed at how much I can fit inside, thanks to the compression pad. The compression pad really works wonders (amazing - with packing cubes). I love that the suitcase is lightweight and I can squish everything down to fit a bunch of stuff in it.The biggest pull for me was the lifetime warranty. That’s what sold me on the suitcase. If a wheel breaks or something happens to the handle, Away will fix it for the life of the product. It makes this competitive with Briggs and Riley, which is another suitcase manufacturer that I was also considering.

I just love my Away carryon! Using it on trip to Ireland and was able (with compression bags) to pack for a 13 day trip. Despite all the weight packed, with the lightweight case I was able to easily get into the overhead bin without assistance. The look is modern and the rollability is like butter. Lots of compartments for stashing bits. Also like the built in security with zipper lock. Great value for the money!

In our selected this carry on for international travel and the warranty. It looks fantastic and comes with a clean up pen to maintain its beautiful matte finish. Prime Day allowed me to purchase at the lowest price I’ve ever seen for an Away carryon. Would buy again but I don’t have to lol…best warranty and customer service for luggage outside of Tumi and Briggs and Riley

It’s a fantastic purchase. I got the first AWAY suitcase 10 years ago and love to pieces, (with minor irritation of usb drive built in charger). This time, it was PERFECT. Great stylish materials, roomy and well designed. I am planing to use it during 3-4 weeks trip to different places in Italy. Nowadays, ability to pack light and appreciate versatility is genuinely a key for happy experience.

Best suitcase I’ve ever owned! The wheels make it so easy to push around, including on carpet. Can fit almost a weeks’ worth of clothes in the bag due to the compressing compartments. Will be replacing all sizes with this brand!

I love my orange Away bag! It's sleek, beautiful, lightweight and roomy enough to pack for a weeklong trip. I feel jaunty rolling it through the airport.

Opening the bag, 1/2 inside zippers broke. Using the bag the first time, the 2nd zipper broke. Rolls well and nice bag but what the absolute heck.
