Perfect Fit for my CRF450x, updated from older plastic sensor
My original Trail Tech came with a plastic sensor. This new one is metal; if you have a plastic one, replace it with this at once.

Gets the job done
Ordered the wrong trail tech unit - didnt realize different models recieve different style temp sensors. Works perfectly on my 2003 YZ450

Just what I needed
This sensor is the exact one that Trail tech sells on their website for $15 more.perfect fit for a 2020 Yamaha YZ450F and a 2021 Kawasaki Kx250.

Only works with trail tech computers
Got this for my trail tech computer. I haven't installed it yet but I anticipate it will be just fine

Gauge is accurate
Used this on our CRF450X. Easy to install, temp is accurate (tested with a separate digital sensor), quality appears fine.

If you have a plastic Trail Tech thermostat - you need to update to this metal thermostat.
I had a really old Trail Tech Vapor with a 19mm inline plastic thermostat on my CRF450x, it cracked and I lost all coolant. Thankfully this happened at camp and not on the trail. I understand that all new Trail Tech's come with this metal version. If you have an old plastic one - replace asap.
