I posted several pictures in effort to show the size and I hope it helps. The width is just a little bigger than the width of a tissue box. I use the small 4 gallon Glad garbage bags and they are a perfect fit. The sensor works great, just don't over open the lid, it will have to reset. It has a black rim that holds the garbage bag in place. I love the pink color. As for the holding capacity this does hold more than you think but it's better for a guest bathroom or home office. I love it, but didn't realize how small it was. I just couldn't tell when ordering. But now that I have it, I do like it and it works very well.

The color is just like the one in the picture, along with all the details about the can. The trashcan itself is very sturdy, and the lid is at a good opening speed in my opinion. The trashcan is a little small, and it fits in smaller areas like under a desk. The trashcan takes 2 double A batteries which are not included, but luckily I had a few on my desk. The price is not bad for what you're getting as well. I would buy this trashcan again probably for my bathroom.

I really like this garbage can, all you need are batteries and you never have to touch this thing due to the functionality of the motion sensor! As a Germaphobe I really appreciate whoever came up with the idea of making this! And that pink finish is everything. Great value for money, protects the garbage scent and the lid never falls off. It’s also very easy to clean!

The materials that it comes with such as the thing to hold down the trash bag it's very convenient. And I love that I have the option of an automatic trash can and a non-automatic trash can. The only con about it is that it doesn't come with batteries but it takes regular AAA batteries that you can find at any store. Overall very satisfied.
