Definitely see the pattern
Comes with 3 recipes. Figured I had better use one of them for the first use of the cookie cutters. Tried the chocolate cookie recipe. Tasted good. It didn't tell me how thick to make them, which made me uneasy. But no matter what thickness I made them, they seemed to turn out at the same time in the oven. And the cookie cutters worked great. What I found was best was to cut them out, place them on the cookie sheet, THEN do the imprints. It was easier to press down on all parts, especially the edges. After they came out, we tried a couple of things to decorate them since I really didn't know what to use. The best thing so far was frosting in tubes. It was quite time-consuming, so we only did a few. Those looked good once we got the hang of it. And on the others, you could definitely see the imprint.

Great Investment
Life as a poor college student means you have to learn how to save money, which usually entails learning how to cook. I have enjoyed my journey thus far, poring over weekly grocery ads and scouring the internet for delicious, yet cheap and simple recipes. Here's the thing about cooking/baking: once you start, you can't stop. You'll want to up the ante and try more exciting recipes. And people start expecting a certain standard of you since you're constantly posting pictures of your successful endeavors on Facebook. Here is where these cookie cutters are one of the best investments you can make. Baking has been proven to be a great stress reliever, and your cookies will be at least ten times more spectacular in the shape of dinosaurs. The indentations came out very clearly and the cutters are super easy to clean because they can go right into the dishwasher, no problem. I wholeheartedly proclaim this a great investment, even for a poor college student. You have to savor these small simple things in life.

Cute dinosaur cookie cutters
This is an absolutely adorable set of dinosaur cookie cutters. I got these for my daughter for her Christmas present as her husband loves dinosaurs and she loves to cook. Added to that, their son's bedroom is in dinosaur theme, so I thought it would make a fun stocking stuffer. She uses them all the time. Not only as cookie cutters but as stencils and to cut play-doh amongst other things. She makes sure she washes them well and uses them again for special cookies. The cutters work so well, I am considering buying some of the other sets

Super fun, a little tricky to work with, but great looking results.
These cookie cutters make some seriously adorable cookies. They aren't the easiest to work with, though, depending on what kind of recipe you use. Because there are so many delicate edges, corners, and a ton of detail in the impressions, you'll want to use a dough that can hold detail well and also won't start tearing or sticking after just a few minutes of working with it.I recommend a mixed-fat recipe (all-butter seems to get warm way too fast, though it is generally tastier) and a liberal amount of flouring the cookie cutters and the stampers, though not too much to make it tough or alter the taste. The thinner cookies (about 3/16" thick) had the most detail but were the hardest to make and transfer, and the thicker ones stayed together better but puffed up during baking and obscured some of the detail.I used a giant cookie spatula to transfer them from roll-out stage to the baking sheet.1. Roll out dough to ~3/16" or 1/4".2. Prepare baking sheet with Silpat or similar nonstick liner, or parchment paper.3. Flour cutter edges, stamp dough. Leave cutter in place.4. Flour stamp surface and slide into cutter, pressing into dough (not too far or it'll tear the cookie, not too little or you won't see the stamp)5. Press and wiggle cutter to get all the tricky edges cut through.6. Leave everything in place, tear dough from around edges, and use spatula to transfer dough + cutter to baking sheet.7. Once placed, remove cutter, then lift stamp off. If any part sticks to cutter or stamper, try valiantly to save it. I had a few T-Rexes with missing or wonky-looking arms. Certain areas of each cutter seem to produce more problems.8. After baking, leave in place for a few minutes (don't let them brown) and then transfer to cooling rack. These steps produced some pretty cool looking cookies! I made a simple white royal icing to painstakingly fill in the bones on some of them. I used a small paintbrush and toothpick to get clean edges.

Cute cookie cutters
I bought these because my nephews love dinosaurs. I thought it would be a fun project with them. I’m a little new to cookie cutters and molds so I had some difficulty in getting the cookie out of the cutter once I pressed the mold in. To clean them, I soak them to make sure all the sugar cookie gets away. But despite my difficulties with it I still love them and making cookies with them.

Great product
These were purchased to make cookies for my granddaughter’s dinosaur themed birthday party. The sturdy cutters with stamps were easy to use. I had to make sure to press the stamp in deep enough to leave the bone indentations. Flooding the indentations with royal icing made these Dino fossils come alive! Chocolate cookie dough allowed a great contrast with the icing bones.

These are adorable! They are a bit tricky to use at first but you get the hang of them after a bit (stamp, then cut!). The little details get stuck once and awhile, i.e. legs and stuff but that is usually because dough is too soft/sticky so chill a bit before using them (yes that was a joke)! Just as a warning, all those little bones are tedious to fill in. I made the impressions deep then used more of a glaze than a royal icing so the frosting did some of the work for me.
