This little diffuser humidifier is a dream. I have been looking at competitive brands and options for a couple of months now as its one of those products you really want something quality, but I was also trying not to break the bank!The first thing that caught my eye was that it is a wellness oriented company and that the product is BPA free!The second thing was the simple and elegant design. Its very subtle and unassuming and the lightshow is smooth and relaxing.The third and most important selling factor for me was that the technology used with in The Essential Wellness piece. They use vibrations rather than combustion to produce the ideal misting for absorption into your body (it also effectively particalizes the oils so they are not burned up in the process), furthermore it has an ionizer to clean and purify the air which is also nice having pets and living in the city and still coming home to clean air.Let me say this guy lives up to the hype. It is powerful enough for my bedroom (11x12) It is quiet and uses 300mL of water in a 6-8hour span. I turn it on before bed and it helps me sleep and auto shuts off when its finished. Very easy to clean. My skin and my hair and my lungs (and my girlfriends dry cough) all drastically improved within the first week. I have just ordered my second unit for my office and a third as a gift for a friend.IF PURCHASING MULTIPLE UNITS: Purchase the first one separately and they send you a thank you 20% for future products :)

I really liked the diffuser. I liked the design of it and I love the amount of mist that comes out. There is enough to feel the mist, but not enough to get everything around the diffuser wet. The cool mist will be great for the dryer months when you need a little extra moisture in the air. It had a good sized water reservoir. I like a larger reservoir because I always forget to refill it, but I thought this lasted a good amount of time. I also loved the timer option. I like that I can just turn it on for a short time to freshen up a room. The light option is also great. It's a great feature for my infant's room so I don't have to also have a nightlight. The colors are soft, calming, and not too bright. I also like that I can turn the light on or off and its a separate feature from the diffuser. The design is modern, however I think it could fit in with most decor. I think the price is right on target with the comparable brands. I will definitely recommend this to any friends in the market for a great, affordable option.

I've held off writing a review for this product, to see if it lasts (I'm a diffuser-aholic) and most break within a few months.Now that I know it works, I am buying it for all the people who have come into my apartment and asked me about the beautiful lamp and how I get my apartment to smell so nice.I use pink grapefruit oil for most of the rooms-- it smells clean and refreshing. I like to play around with different colors and the lighting really adds to decor.In bedroom/bathroom, I use mixture of lavender and eucalyptus oils, it's like a spa (light goes off, so you can sleep with it on). Very little oil is needed. The smell is subtle, but fills a room.Even if you don't use oils, these are great alternatives to humidifiers. Much easier to keep clean.I live in NYC, where you think people have seen everything. But, everyone comments on this. For the price, you get something unique, beautiful, functional and can be personalized because there are so many color/scent options. It's great bang for buck.

Overall out of all of the diffusers I have tried, I liked this diffuser the best for several reasons.PROS:1) it looks sleek, isn’t bulky and it lights up (although I don’t usually use the lights it has many colors to choose from that it rotates through on its own or you can choose to keep the diffuser on just one)2) The lid/cover locks in place. This was the whole reason I purchased it. Lids that aren’t secured can get bumped so easily and there go your oils all over your desk/counter3) The ultrasonic motor is extremely quiet, and the mist is extremely fine.4) It’s cool mist. While I don’t know if that is a huge factor concerning oil diffusers, I have had warm ones before, and I feel as though the cool ones keep the oils smelling better, longer.5) It is small (300mL) but mighty! The mist casually come out of the top of the oil diffuser like a lot of designs, it is propelled out of a side “vent”. Maybe it was just my perception, but I felt like it was being dispersed into the room better in this way.6) It came with a handy measuring cup (not all do!)7) It never once dripped water anywhere - opening the lid, closing the lid. No water built up on the inside lid etc. Loved that.CONS:1) I had an extremely hard time sliding the cover open/closed in order to unlock it anytime I wanted to add water or oils.I thought it would loosen up with time, but this did not happen.2) My hands are very petite and I struggle with weakness at times. It was hard for me to get a good grip around the whole cover which you need to do in order to turn it counterclockwise to “unlock it”. Once it’s slid completely countclockwise, then it can simply be lifted up and off the base to open it up.Unfortunately I wasn’t able to easily lift the lid off base because of my petite hands. I had to get a good grip on the bottom of the diffuser by carefully pulling the base with one hand and pulling the lid off with the other (whether there was liquid in it or not).After doing this multiple times and needing to ask for help on other occasions, I reluctantly decided I should return it and find an easier one to use.
