Método is a brand of perfumes, colognes and body lotions that are made in Spain. The brand is well known for its distinctive and strong scents. Método has been the number one selling perfume from Spain since the late 90s. The brand was originally called "Meto" which means “method” in Spanish. The name was changed after the company was bought by L´Oréal in 1999. Initially, Meto created fragrance lines that focused on masculine scents such as Oud, Tobacco and Leather. However, they soon began to release scents that were more tailored towards the female market such as Red Cherry, White Jasmine and Sweet Pea. In 2005, Método launched a new scent called Green Tea & Mint that has been continuously sold ever since. In addition to these women's lines, Meto also produces men's cologne. Método has two main collections: their original line of masculine scents, and their Intense line which contains floral fragrances. They also have a few limited edition collections such as the Men’s Love collection that was released in 2007 and the Women’s Glamour collection, which was released in 2009. Método has released a total of 16 fragrances since its inception in 1996. Some of the most popular fragrances included in this line are Tobacco Vanille, Oud Wood, Oud Amber, Red Cherry and White Jasmine. The Intense collection consists of scents that are more floral than the original line of fragrances released by Método.
