I have purchased several tv boxes and they all seemed to work fine right out the box except for this one.It has trouble turning on after turning it off or putting it on sleep mode. I have to remove the plug and replace it to get it to turn on.Doesn’t respond well to provided remote. (Works better with a third party remote)Keeps disconnecting itself from the internet (via Ethernet cable).As for the home screen you can only reorder your apps. Very limited in what you want to see on home screen.The display clock on the unit shows the time in 24hr format only. You can adjust the time and format within the os but it won’t change what’s being displayed on the outside of the unit.It does come loaded with apps that allow you to download your favorite apk files.

HI, I'm still in the middle of learning this baby. I purchased this 'cause of the Tech support offered (Mon -Fri); better chipset; more upgradable ROM (64GB +)for storage & 30-day money back from here in the USA. WOW, I ordered this on Sat-re. it on SUN w/ PRIME-thanks Amazon Prime. 1) the included REMOTE is next to useless ! It's slow & you must keep hitting a button to switch from arrow to block movement. A real P.I.A. for me. I had questions-& there was no way to reach support-they are off on weekends. Sounded like my OLD bank lol. The wireless reception is far better than my 4KF-stick from living room-bedroom. The settings are VAST. I mean, you have a lot of choices. SUPPORT: Well they have a great personality & i never felt rushed. more later.Thanks for reading

I wanted to like this and possibly replace my nvidia shield as Kodi and other apps seem to crash a lot. My mibox 3 is so stable but can't handle many games. I wanted this to be a nice blend. Here's what I found. Steam link freezes (didn't expect it to work anyway), SOUL CALIBUR, KOTOR, and Jade empire failed and lagged. Kodi was flawless, Netlifx flawless, casting from phone (youtube app) to this device needs another app (which will hound you to buy the prem edition) to function. Also, app must be started manually or by another app you will need to install and set up that will launch things at start. The extra remote sucks compared to others I used as well. The units remote (real remote not add on) is IR but works well. I however cannot give this 3 or more due to the chromecast being a fail. A less powerful MIBOX 3 works with the google games (soul calibur and etc) and all the streaming apps for video (including kodi).But the big kicker was the GUI. It feels more like the phone android OS with a skin over it vs Android TV OS which nvidia and mibox have.

I've had this for about 2 months and it is much better than my 7.1 android box. I have an iptv service which used to take about 2 minutes every morning to have the movies & channels & guide refreshed but with this box it only takes about 15 seconds for all that, plus there is little or no buffering with this box. Very pleased

No kodi, and no special kodi updater app, like the skystream 1 and 2 has. 1 star for this, as that is the main reason why I and most people buy this.

Great video quality for 1080 p havent tested 4k. Minus one star for remote and home page . Its geared i think for the tv service. Install a logitech mouse keyboard combo. Tv service i might test. I had a cheaper unit this ones way faster.

Works fantastic.... thought the remote wouldn’t turn it on and off. Read the instructions you have to hold the button down for a few seconds and it worked. Always read instructions first.
